Promise

After the Boar Hat lands (y/n POV)

"Let's get going captain." Says a very beautiful woman with black hair and gold eyes.

"Right. Hey guys me and Merlin will be leaving so behave yourselves while we're gone!!!" He says while waving bye and with a smile. Then they both leave.

I let out a sigh and then sit down on a chair. Well what am I supposed to do now. I look around to see Hawk eating and Elizabeth cleaning the tables and Ban passed out on the counter. Geez is there anyone that I can talk to. I look out the window to see King and Diane talking to each other. I get up and go outside the wind starts to blow through my hair. I start to stretch. "Wow what a beautiful day." I walk around to find a flower field. "So many beautiful flowers!" I sit in the field of flowers and hum to myself.

"It's beautiful isn't it?"

"Huh?" I turn around to see Meliodas. "Oh hello Meliodas I didn't know you were back."

"Yeah well Merlin took care of it for me."

Meliodas sits next to me. I can't but feel so safe. Whenever I'm with him I can't help but feel so warm inside I wonder why.

"Hey y/n do you really want to travel with us?"

"What of course I do why do you ask!?!"

"Well I can't promise that this won't be dangerous or that you won't get hurt. I will promise you this I will always be by your side." He says with a serious face.

At first I was surprised I never seen this side of Meliodas even if I've only been with him for a short period of time. I felt like he was actually telling me what was in his heart. "I promise to stay by your side and always trust you." I say with a smile.

We stare at each other for a few seconds and then look away. "Hey captain!!!" We turn around to see Ban waving to us saying we're all good to go. We both get up and walk to the Boar Hat and....
