This is what I imagine Elle looking like👆👆

Once I get into the living room I can tell I'm in the center of the party. In one corner there's a large L shaped couch where there are more than three couples making out. I gag and turn myself away from them. I notice that there's a huge flatscreen tv in another corner with quite a few drunk looking guys are trying to play just dance and after listening for ten seconds I can tell it's Baby by Justin Bieber. Puke. The lights in the room are off but there are a ton of small disco lights planted around the room that are blinking and spinning a rainbow of colors.

"What do you want to do?" Oliver puts a hand on my shoulder and I jump a little. "Woah, did I scare you?" He chuckles and it gives me chills.

"Nah, just zoning out a bit. This party's lame." I lie. I walk away from him and towards the boys singing and dancing along to "Baby", letting Oliver's hand slide off my shoulder.

I head to the food table, grabbing myself a chip and a cup of punch. Oliver follows me and gets his own handful of chips.

"Wow. I didn't know you could be a clinger." I comment.

He laughs a little and looks at me. There's an uncomfortable silence between us which I decide to break.

"Imma go say hi to my other guy friends." I wink at him and start walking away before he can say anything.

"Hey guys," I say, recognizing that the one of the guys is Tyler, and the other is Wren, a boy from school.

"Holaaaaa!" Ty sings. I laugh and whisper in Wren's ear.

"Hey dude I'm not trying to be weird here but I need Oliver to be jealous, do me a favor and look over at him right now then laugh with me after I step back. Thanks bro." He looks at Olly when I tell him to and we both laugh.

I see Oliver get a confused then slightly pissed face. This only makes me laugh more. I want to let Oliver be the follower for once, since he's had so many girls just run after him. I saunter off into the kitchen, swaying my hips a little more than I usually do when I walk to entice him.

The kitchen I enter is actually really nice for a college boy's house. I sit down on a light colored wooden stool and wait.

It isn't more than fifteen seconds before Oliver appears and looks a little disheveled.

"Hey party boy." I smile.

"What was that all about?" I brush off his rude acknowledgement and play dumb instead.

"What do you mean?" I ask playfully.

"Ugh. You're so stubborn. Why is it that every girl I meet drops at my feet and you don't even want to talk to me?" He asks, puzzled.

"What, you jealous that maybe not every single person in this world want to get with you?" I start getting angry, which was the opposite of what it seems he was expecting. "If you think about it, you only get one person in this life. We all do."

"I only get one person and so do you. And if you find them and they are actually willing to be with you, you should be so glad, because you'll realize how bad you make other girls feel when you just drop them because they aren't 'the one'." I pause, realizing how long I had been going off. I sit back down and take a deep breath.

Oliver, ever the unexpected one, laughs.

"You think I don't already know that? Here's the truth. I don't really have many people to love. My dad left when I was young. My mom is a drunk. I don't have any close friends. If that's not a good enough excuse for you, I don't know what to tell you."
