The school bus stopped at the humongous school. It honestly makes me think I'm going to Hogwarts. It's my motivation in the morning.
'Get up and go to Hogwarts and attend Defense against the Dark arts'. I like to fantasize a lot. Which probably isn't good for a sixteen year old.Anyway, I stepped onto the grass and saw people running around. The bus drove away behind me. The freshman looked scared as hell though. It's adorable.
I then saw a figure running towards me in open arms. I squinted at them. My dumbass forgot to put contacts in this morning, guess I'll have to wear my glasses. If Viola found out, she'd freak.
The figure tackled me.
"DOMINIQUE!" She yelled and hugged me. I then realized it was Olivia Timothy. My best friend since I was 5. She had short brown hair and big black glasses. She was shorter than me, only by one and half inches. She was nerdy and athletic. That's why I liked her so much. She was both.
"I missed you!" I smiled in response.
"I missed you too! Now can you please stop suffocating me?" She let go and I gasped for air. Whenever she hugged you, she took the air right out of your lungs.
"How was America?" She said, doing jazz hands. Did I forget to mention she was dramatic?
"Good. Real hot though. I wish I could bring you cause Viola was eating my brain away with shopping." Olivia was the only one I trusted with my family problems. Particular because she there when my parents died and was there when I moved. Her mother received a job offer, an amazing one, that was in France. So she was leaving me anyway. But, God decided to not separate us. And I thank Him everyday for that. Because, if i didn't move to France and ended up in London with my cousins and my fathers twin brother, I would've lost it. Seriously.
"Well that's her speciality." She smiled and linked our arms together. We began walking toward the doors.
"Guess what?"
"You met OSCAR SIMONS?" She screamed.
Oscar Simons.
Sigh.
He's a famous model. A year older than us but we're good friends. Olivia is madly in love with him. She's so obsessed that she has a poster of him that I had autographed for her, hung above her bed. It's been two years and it's in the same place. So, for her birthday this year, I've decided to invite him to surprise her. I'm a good friend aren't I?
"NO! I took the bus today!" I said happily. She looked at the stupid smile I had on my face confusingly. Then she remembered.
"OH MY GOSH! Yay! I'm sorry! I totally forgot that you never take the bus, so I was like 'what the heck is she talking about?' But now I remember. I'M SO HAPPY! I should've known when I didn't see your Tesla anywhere. YAY!" She said moving her hands as she talked fast.
"Yup." I smiled.
"Oh my gosh we can go on the bus together now!"
"That is if I come back alive tomorrow." She scrunched her nose up in disgust.
"Your grandmother needs to take a yoga class. She needs to find her inner peace and realize that SHE'S HORRIBLE. She needs to seriously get some sense knocked into her."
"I wish." I said and sat on top of the rock sculpture. Did I mention that the school has massive rocks at the sides, symmetrically? No? Now you know. She joined me, but wiped the rock first. She leaned her head on my shoulder.
"It's too early Dommy." She sighed. I smiled, she was not a morning person.
"Imagine waking up at 5 am every day for a whole 3 months."
