"Alright, Lawrence what do you want to know?" She smirked, raising a brow. "Where you from?"

"Ohio, the one and only. And you?"

"Nevada, the state only know for being home to Las Vegas." We both laughed.

"My turn, why'd you decide to move here?" She looked down at the floor her happiness faded. "To get away from the burden that was there." I felt bad for asking.

"May I a-"

"Can I get you two, the couple, something to drink." The waitress interrupted me, I looked over at Lawrence who looked like she was holding in her laughter, and she looked back at me I was smiling. "Yeah, I'll have a coke." The waitress looked over at Lawrence.

"I'll have a sweet tea, please and thank you." She wrote it down and left. "Your question?" Lawrence asked.

"I was gonna ask what the burden was. But considering you looked a bit down just answering my question, I wasn't sure I wanted to finish asking." She shrugged it off.

"My parents died there, specifically by murder. It was hard to live there knowing what happened there, in that town, you know?" She looked over at me and I nodded understandingly."Why did you move here?"

"Because of my best friend, he convinced me to move here, and that him and I would make a YouTube channel." Her eyes widened, "Wait for real? You're a YouTuber?" She was acting sarcastic.

"Yeah, 3 million subscribers on our collab channel and 3 million on my personal." She sarcastically gasped and I smiled. "Awe you have a fan base, a collab channel, and a best friend you moved here with. Kian Lawley, dare I say, are you gay?" She smirked,

"What a way with words you have, Lawrence." She chuckled, "Yeah, I write songs in my free time." She shrugged.

"For real?" I asked, she shook her head no and made a face and we both laughed til the waitress came with our drinks and we ordered our food.

"When do you film? So I can know when I have to be antisocial." I rolled my eyes. "My friends would love you, also I film Monday's, Wednesday's, and Friday's."

"Hm, what was it like back home?" I asked, she looked back at me attentively. "Not the greatest." She shrugged it off before looking around, trying not to make contact with me. "Why wasn't it?" She looked back at me.

"It was a lot, it's pretty depressing. I don't want you to think I'm a depressed little shit." I laughed, and she looked at me questionably. "Why are you laughing, I'm being for real." I kept laughing, she softly hit my shoulder. "Kiaannnnn."

I calmed down, "Do you call yourself that a lot?" She thought for a second. " Actually yeah." I laughed again, but this time she did also.

Soon after our food came and we ate, and then returned to my house. Our house now.

"Lawrence I'm not done asking questions. I want to know more about you." She stopped before entering her room. "Alright Kian, let me grab a hoodie. Which will take a while to find." I could see her smirk from down where I was.

"Don't worry Lawrence, you can use mine." She came back downstairs. With her arms crossed over her chest. "This is a dirty game you're playing with me Kian." She shook her head smiling, I sat down on the couch and set the hoodie down next to me.

She put it on before sitting down next to me. "Okay, Lawrence, you have a nickname?" She put her hair up into a bun and pulled out some hairs  to make it messy, making me realize how beautiful she was not hot but beautiful.

"Well my best friend back home called me Rence, But you can call me Lawr, or Lawren, I've heard some people call me Rory. I don't know how-"

"How about Lawry? So I don't have to say Lawrence every five seconds. What a mouthful." She scoffed and I paused.

"I got it from my grandfather who died a day before I was born."

"Damn I am so sorry." I put a hand over my heart.

"I was kidding my name used to be Rose, but I changed it to Lawrence when I turned 15."

"It's fits you better. Oh and that reminds me, you never answered my question back at the restaurant." She sighed.

"Back home was rough, you already know my parents died. I also did have a lot of fake friends. Like one time, these girls who said they were my friends told false, embarrassing things about me to my boyfriend. Who then broke up with me because of those things. They also told him that I was cheating on him, and became lesbian. But then a month later they told me that they were having sex with him, and he told me that it was true. Also they pranked me by pretending to be my friends again and invited me to a sleepover. And that night my parents told me not to go, but I still went, and that night-"

She started to tear up, "Lawrence, you can stop. You don't have to keep going." She shrugged and I rubbed her shoulder, trying to comfort her. "Yeah, whenever I have the courage to not be depressed, I'll tell you. I shouldn't have even started to tell you, knowing I would've cried."

"Lawrence I'm sorry, I didn't think you would cry." She began to walk up the stairs. "No it's fine, Kian. You just wanted to get to know your roommate, and make sure she wasn't a murderer." She chuckled and I smiled up at her. She was standing in her doorframe now. "Good night Kian." She smirked and waved.

"Goodnight Lawry." I waved back and smiled and she went into her room, closing the door.
