Everything started that summer. The summer of EnderCon, the one where Axel, Olivia, Reuben, and I won. That was a wild and crazy summer, I got to meet Gabriel the Warrior, I became friends with Petra, and I realized that Lukas was a terrible guy.
It started the day of EnderCon. We were all determined to beat the Ocelots that year, and finally take that smug little grin of of Lukas and Adrian's face. I was so ready and I had everything prepared. Though, I hadn't anticipated anything following the events of that day.
Everything seemed so normal, we got there we gave them our team name 'The Order of the Pigs' I had come up with it on the spot, so I surprised myself when I came up with something so good.
We all walked in and I could see him standing there, looking like he thought he was the best thing there. Just standing there with his perfect hair, and perfect lips, and, ugh, I just know under that shirt and stupid ocelot jacket, he had some great abs. I just know it. God I could've ripped that jacket apart and felt no remorse.
I think it all started with Petra. When Lukas thanked her for the nether star. It's just when he said that, he seemed so sweet, not like any Lukas I had known before that. Yes, that's when I first looked at him and felt something other than anger, and I think, under all of my resentment, I genuinely thought that Lukas was cute. Not hot, everyone knew that was a trait that applied to him, and even though I hated him, I could even admit that. But I just saw this sweet side of him, and it kind of made my heart flutter. I know this probably all sounds really stupid, but that's just how I felt. I knew though, I just knew- from seeing the way he spoke to her- he liked Petra. So, simply, I left it.
After the whole conversation with Lukas and Petra, Olivia, Axel, and I went to our booth and started building our enderman firework dispenser. I built the structure, Axel put down all the devices, and Olivia worked on the red stone connections.
We finished and I had never been more proud of anything in my life. Olivia switched the lever and the fireworks began going off. Everyone looked over at it, and that included Lukas. We made eye contact and I looked away and started blushing. We all three jumped down
from the top of the structure and when we landed on the ground, Lukas congratulated us, and I mean some other people too, I guess, but when he told me that we had a good invention, I said " Yeah, I know." And I looked away as fast as possible.
Olivia gave me a weird look, one that was sort of suggestive. In the sense that I should talk to Lukas more, I mean. I gave her a look that told her I was definitely not going to do that and she shrugged it off.
All of the sudden I heard Reuben squeal, and when I looked over there was lava spilling from another machine, and Adrian sitting there looking guilty.
"Arian, what the fuck?!" I yell. Reuben runs away toward the forest, and I start chasing after him, " Olivia, Axel take care of the invention!!" And I ran off into the woods.
