(Your POV)
Although I wasn't exactly thrilled to be surrounded by a group of the largest man-haters in the world Thalia was right in the fact that I didn't exactly have a choice but to stick around, especially with the fact that every time I moved even slightly it was some of the worst pain to ever shoot throughout my body. Although I suppose that being shot with half a quiver of arrows would do that to anyone, in order to better orient myself with the camp and where everything was I had begun to search out Thalia in order to ask for a proper tour of the place. As I approached a more open area with a large fire and roasting spit in the middle I saw that most of the hunters were gathered at a table for what I assumed was lunch, as I drew closer I saw that many of the hunters stared at me with a mixture of emotions, many were that of Hatred and Disgust however some were more of Curiosity, "Uh hello, I'm sorry to interrupt your meal but uh I was hoping to speak with Thalia." "And do tell boy what do you want with our Lieutenant," before I was able to respond I saw that Thalia had stood up from the table and motioned for me to follow her away from the others, I obliged and followed her about 20 feet away. "What do you need (Y/N)?" "I'm sorry to bother your meal but I wanted to get a tour of the camp so I can have a better understanding of where everything is so I can begin with my tasks as soon as possible." she looked me up and down sizing me up before she finally spoke, "Are you sure that you can work right now? I mean those injuries you sustained were no joke over exhausting yourself could spell a quick and painful death" "Really I'll be ok these injuries really aren't as bad as they seem," although I could tell she wasn't convinced she just shook her head before telling me that she would come to get me after she ate and with that she turned and went back to the rest of the group leaving me by myself.
After another 10 or so minutes Thalia came back to me before she asked me to follow her, she proceeded to show me the cooking area, and sleeping quarters for the hunters along with the armory. After the main bulk of tents, she showed me further out where the archery targets were set up along where the guard wolves tended to sleep, "not only that but we tend to camp not far from a water source or cleaning, laundry, and bathing, oh and I would avoid washing the undergarments for well obvious reasons, you can set up a tent near where the wolves patrol they shouldn't maul you hopefully." Wait do I even have a tent? oh shit... "Hey uh, Thalia you didn't happen to take any of the supplies I had with me whenever you all found me and Olivia did you?" "No we didn't we did take your sword and shield, however regrettably we won't be able to give you those back at least as of right now, I'm sorry I think that it's unnecessary but Lady Artemis is very adamant about protecting her hunters, however, if you cooperate I will plead your case for your weapons back." So not only do I not have any place to properly sleep but I can't even protect myself, this is just great.
Despite the fact that I am currently unarmed surrounded by murderous tweens and monsters waiting to kill me that all seemed to pale in comparison to the rather ridiculous amount of arrowheads and bows that needed to be repaired and sharpened, it looked like it was about 1 pm and judging by the amount of work here it would take me well for lack of a better term a really fucking long time. Oh well could be worse I guess and from there I began the herculean task ahead. After many hours of sharpening cursing to myself and repairing bow strings, Thalia came to visit "So how's your first chore? looks to be rather time-consuming." "well there really isn't much of a point in complaining, I mean someone got to do it right? anyway did you only come for anything in particular?" "Oh of course I came to say you're released for the day it's 9:30" Oh shit is it really that late? "Oh thank you I'll head to my area now" and with that, I went to find a place to sleep, upon reaching the outskirts of the camp I saw the glowing eyes of the wolves patrolling, upon seeing this I decided it would be within my best interest to sleep in a tree just in case. Scouting the area I found a rather large Oak and began to shimmy up the trunk of the tree and secured myself to a limb. The bark rubbing against my skin I began to fall asleep rather uncomfortably it especially didn't help that my injuries were starting to hurt me even worse not only that but my scars seemed to ache also, at that I need to remind myself to build a Lean-to the next time, and with that final thought I drifted off to sleep.
(Artemis POV)
Tonight was as unextraordinary a night as any driving the moon across the sky can be rather boring however it always gave me a chance to think, tonight's thoughts were nothing special mostly how to avoid Aphrodite and Apollo from messing with my hunters however as I approached back to my camp something caught my eye, It was that male again he was sleeping in a tree? Did this boy not have a tent or at least a sleeping bag? doesn't he know that sleeping in the elements, especially this time of year he could catch a sickness, I bet this is his way of getting out of work. I flash down to the limb that he was currently sleeping on and made a loud cough I then see his eyes flutter open before they grow as wide as saucers and he bows down, "Lady Artemis to what do I owe the pleasure of this meeting." "Tell me boy why are you sleeping in this tree in the middle of October? do you plan on becoming sick so you can avoid doing your chores? if so don't think I will hesitate to turn you into an animal and send my girls on you." "Oh no no I would never do such a thing it's just that... I don't have a tent or sleeping bag, I gave mine to Olivia a few weeks ago when hers got destroyed during a storm, and well after we were attacked I left it behind as I just wanted to get her to safety," to be completely honest I was not expecting that response, the fact that this boy sacrificed his own comfort for someone else is rather surprising, "I bet you only did so to lay with her just as how you men usually do." "My Lady I would never do anything of the sort, especially to her... she was my only real friend and I am not like my siblings who only care about sex, my relationship was her was simply platonic and nothing more." after hearing his response I was rather impressed perhaps I am too quick to judge certain people, he reminded me a lot of that Jackson boy. " I see, well starting tomorrow I will have a tent and some other basic supplies ready for you we can't have you sleeping in the elements, now return to your slumber boy tomorrow will be especially difficult for you." with that he bowed and gave his thanks before he returned to sleep and I made my way back to my tent to ready for the next day.
