Khaleel, still with his strong aversion to MBBS, found his SSCE result totally the antithesis of what he had prayed for. It was his prayer that he flunked both chemistry and physics. An "F" grade in both was what he had prayed for, so he could be relieved off his father's plea. The spectacular  result he'd  got which  could move any student with medical ambition to intense exhilaration was nothing but a shocker to Khaleel. He knew he hadn't deserved the result. His father, desperate that his only son must follow his footsteps, had been constantly praying for the success of his son.
Seeing his son's result, Muhammad couldn't help hiding the euphoria, and so he had decided to surprise Khaleel with a gift of a brand new laptop.
Khaleel was to sit for his JAMB examination in one of the miracle centres where excellent grades were guaranteed. It was Muhammad's idea that Khaleel took the examination in one of the miracle centres where good grades were a certainty. When Khaleel's adamance was beyond compromising, it was decided that he would take his JAMB in a local centre. Khaleel thought it wise that he flunked the JAMB so that efforts at trying to have him take MBBS would go thwarted.

Aqeeb's SSCE result was as spectacular as his parents had expected it. Before the commencement of the examination, Aqeeb had made sure that he had gone through every relevant material he could lay his curious hands on, so that when the result was released, it was a wow.
He had made the recommended points set by the institution of his choice. A few days after the release of the result, his preferred institution, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, had called for screening. He had successfully passed the exercise and was waiting admission with his fingers crossed. His parents were on tenterhooks to see their Aqeeb in the Uni, studying on of the most lucrative courses in Nigeria - MBBS.
