My heart suddenly beat faster than its normal speed when I saw him.

He's blushing. Is it because of the alcohol? Nah. He's not drinking, maybe he wants to stay alert when something bad happen tonight.

Shan used the opportunity to run away from me, leaving me in front of Techno to explain what's happening.

Should I tell him that I'm just helping his brother? But that will only bring more questions.

Should I say I'm just looking at Shan's face? Hell, no! That's more suspicious.

My mind seems like in a state of euphoria from all the drinks I took. I should have stop myself from drinking all the filled glasses on the table besides me.

I tried to follow Shan so I can avoid Techno's interrogation but he stopped me.

"What were you two doing here?"

"Nothing, P'. We're just talking."

He's not buying it.

"Stop flirting with Technic's girlfriend."

Hell I will flirt with her!

"That girl likes me more than your brother and you saw it."

Fck. What did I say that? Fck this fast heartbeats. I can't think straight.

Maybe there's something wrong in the drinks they served?

He came closer to me. Maybe he's not angry anymore?

"They're in a relationship. Find someone who's available."

I sighed. I want to rest. I want to go home now. My heart might explode any moment.

I think I'll call one of my cousins. Who's a cardiologist among them, anyway?

"Okay, I'll stop but you need to help me, P'."

He sighed. He put his arm around my shoulder and slowly drag me out of that small hallway, heading back to the party.

"Fine. I will ask in my school for some girls that's still available."

Before my mind can process my response, I already say it aloud. Loud enough for him to hear it.

"Oh, P'. I don't want some girls. I want you."

I didn't attend our class yesterday. I was too scared to see Techno in our school in case he comes and bring something for his little devil- I mean little brother.

And I am more scared to Nic now that Shan didn't break up with him. Telling them that I am breaking her and Nic so I can claim Nic. Like, what the hell? I am straight!

That group chat was full of trash. I left the group after I read all the teasing they did. Annoying humans.

I decided to go to school today because Nic sent a message telling me to meet him. Maybe he's going to ask something else for the payment because I didn't do my job that night.
