Rewrite The Stars
*you might want to listen to a sad song*
The tv was on but no one was watching. Jimin was busy in the kitchen cooking some steak for his fiancé. He decided to leave the tv on for some background noise, he hated being alone, his thoughts always ate him up. He was impressed with what he made, dinner definitely did look great tonight.
He wanted to treat you to dinner but didn't want to go out tonight. Instead, he told you that he'd cook his special meal just for you, he had never done this for anyone and was anticipating your reaction.
Little did he know just how much pain you were in. You knew you had such a life-threatening problem. But out of all times, you hadn't thought of it becoming a problem right in this moment. It was drizzling with rain softly, the sun was replaced with the moon; but all you could see was a blur.
You tried to stop walking, holding onto the streetlight pole for balance but everything felt a lot more harder today. You could feel the giant knot in your back area stretch your organs uncomfortably. You took a minute to close your eyes and breathe in and out.
Please, not now. Not now.
The pain in your stomach only increased and you yelped aloud. You gripped the pole for dear life as tears whelmed into your eyes. Please. Not again. You couldn't see, you was losing vision again. You held your breath in and placed your forehead on the pole muttering words of comfort to yourself.
Jimin placed the plates according to how'd you like them on the table and neatly laid everything. He had two different glasses because he knew you didn't drink and poured your favourite juice inside, instead. He stood back and approvingly smiled at his presentation, proudly.
He texted you and placed his phone down on the island. He sucked his bottom lip in-between his lips whilst shaking his hands nervously. He had jittery nerves pool him into distress and chuckled to himself for even feeling so nervous. Both of you had many dates, he hadn't a reason to be so nervous.
You opened your eyes and balanced yourself off the pole. The pain was still there and you didn't know if you could make the walk to his apartment. You felt as if you'd faint any second and you were so scared to let that happen. This was important to him, he didn't know about your problem and if you didn't go he'd think of you neglecting him. But you knew you couldn't make it to his house either.
"One step at a time." You breathed. You were doing good, taking small steps forward now that your vision came back.
When suddenly you had been hit with the same excruciating pain that made you scream louder than before. Your face went pale as your body went in shock mode. You could feel sweat form across your forehead and wait for the impact of your body hitting against the ground. And when it came, you cried in ache.
People gathered around you and instantly searched for a display of blood. They didn't see any but called the ambulance when you couldn't deliver a word of reassurance. The pain took over your eyes and you could only see colours around you. Everyone and everything stopped, time itself stopped. You could only hear the alarming rate of your heartbeat.
Jimin impatiently ate some grapes to stop him from scratching his head out. "Where is she?" He asked himself in concern and started to get very worried. It had been more than 30 minutes since you last texted him about buying him some flowers. You did buy them but they were somewhere on the floor, beside the pole you held for balance.
