Children in the Mist

(I'm not gonna show Grougaloragram choosing Alibert to be the father of Yugo and Reader. Y'all can imagine it yourselves and I'm lazy)

"Yugo! (Y/N)!" Alibert calls us from downstairs.

"Coming!" I reply, already awake and Yugo is getting out of bed.

We run downstairs to our Dad, Alibert, to see him baking bread.

"Dad's making bread! The fun never ends around here!" Yugo exclaims after laughing.

"It's not funny Yugo. Now go to Jason's and get five loaves of bread." Alibert says, "we have gobbal stew to prepare. When the sun shines-"

"The guests are in sight, I know." Yugo cuts him off before going to Jason's to get five loaves of bread.

"(Y/N), get the stove (Imma call it that) ready for the gobbal stew." Dad says to me.

"Yes father," I reply before going to the stove and getting it ready while thinking, 'Why do we need such a large pot?'

Yugo quickly comes back with the loaves of bread and we begin cooking.

"Hey Yugo, (Y/N), come play gobowl with us," some of our friends say to us.

"Sorry we can't, we have to help Dad out with making gobbal stew," Yugo replies and I nod in agreement with Yugo.

"Aww, but we can't play gobowl with only three players," one of them says as they walk out. They then begin playing a version of the game.

"Looks ready," Yugo says before we put the stew on plates and put meat on it.

'Stew on plates, I've always thought that it was weird, but oh well,' I thought, handing the plates over to Dad to finish them up.

After some time, Alibert called to us," Yugo, (Y/N), get this poor enutrof some gobbal stew." He emphasized the word poor, which I chuckled at, but me and Yugo got to work on the stew.

Before we did, we replied with, "Okay Dad," or something like that.

After we finished, in which Yugo created a portal in that time, I handed Yugo the plates, to which I counted the seconds until I heard a plate hit someone. At that, I sighed while saying, "He did it again. Even with him finding out about his powers. If only I could have told him about it before."

A few moments later, I heard the door burst open and people yelling, to which I ran out of the kitchen to see a creature looking at the trophies. "Pre...tty. Nice!" It said.

After it said that, an angry sounding voice commanded it,"Forget about that, idiot, we have other things to do! Destroy! It's time to destroy!" But, he was interrupted by Yugo putting a cloth over the creature's head and saying something to it.

While that was happening, I thought,' It seems as though something else controls that creature and makes it do things, even with the creature's lack of intelligence. Meaning, that if one of us got rid of the thing trying to control him, he would be free of its control!' After that evaluation, I began making a plan, until the old man and my father were hurt by the creature.

My brother and I teleported above the person being control by shushu after the old guy said some stuff to us. We then began pulling the shushu, causing it to get angry and yell at us until we finally pulled it out. Afterwards, the shushu became a sword and the guy, who was a iop, returned to his normal size.

The iop then said, "There's something I absolutely must tell you!" Before pausing out.

"He conked down!" The old guy said before saying to us, "Well, kiddos, that was some pretty impressive stuff! What was that game of hide and seek you played, Yugo, (Y/N)?! I've never seen that kind of magic before."

"It just sorta happened. Pretty cool, don't you think? I just discovered it when we were doing the cooking." Yugo says in response.

"I've known about it for a while," I reply.

"Yugo! (Y/N)! I have something extremely important to tell you." Our father exclaims before elaborating, "When I found you two, there was a message in your baby carriage. It spoke of your powers and your real family...."

But then, we heard some noises outside, aka yelling, so we went to go check it out and found-!
