Life Before Death (Harry Styles)

Chapter 5.

I wake up the next morning on top of Harry. I slowly get up and off of him before making my way down to the kitchen. Since nether of us have work for awhile I decide that today I am going to do nothing. I make some tea for myself and Harry.

As soon as I bring the tea cup up to my mouth Harry comes stumbling into the kitchen half asleep. He stands in front of me and looks down at me.

"Good morning." he says then kisses my cheek making the butterflies in my belly go wild.

"Morning Harry." I say giving him his tea.

"Thanks Alex." he says sitting down at the counter. I stand across from him as silence fills the room. My phone starts to go off so I go and get it bringing myself back into the kitchen before answering the call from my brother.

"Hey Niall." I say.

"I saw on the news that there was murder at the bakery you work at. Are you okay Alex?" he says which makes my heart hurt.

"Yeah I'm fine Niall. But please I don't want to talk about that."

"I just wanted to make sure that you are okay. We actually have a concert in a few."

"Okay twin brother,  be safe I love you and the boys."

"Bye Alex love you too." he says before the line goes dead. I put my phone down on the table and sigh.

"You okay?" asks Harry.

"Yeah,  just this whole thing is so messed up." I say grabbing my tea cup again.

"I know it does. But hey let us just have fun today." he says smiling.

"Can we have a lazy day?"

"That sounds fantastic." he says getting up and putting his cup in the sink. He then comes to my side. I finish my tea up and put the cup in the sink. I hold out my hand for Harry to take, he does. I then lead him to couch. He lets go of my hand and sits down while I go over to the DVD cabinet.

"What would you like to watch? I have one of my brothers concerts on DVD, I also have comedies, and a bunch more." I say with a slight chuckle.

"Can we watch your concert? I have heard there music before and always wanted to see them in concert."

"Sure." I say grabbing the DVD out of the cabinet. I put it in the player and go over to Harry with the remote in my hands. I then sit next to him and press play. I grab the blanket from behind the couch and snuggle up to it. Just as the movie starts Harry puts his arm around me and pulls me close to his side. I look up to see him looking back at me.

"I like you." he says smiling.

"I like you too." I say smiling back at him. I then lay my head on his chest as he rests his hand on my waist. I lay one of my hands on one of his knees. After the whole concert Harry is asleep again. His head falls onto my lap. I move my hands to his soft curls.

I plant a kiss to his forehead before I relax letting my tiredness take over my whole body.

I awake to find Harry staring at me.

"Hey." I say lifting my body off of his.

"Hey darling." he says which makes my heart flutter.

"Do you want anything to eat?" I say looking over to the clock to see that it is six o'clock.

"Sure."

"Wanna order out?" I say getting up.

"Sure maybe Chinese?" he asks.

"Sounds yummy. What do you like?"

"General Chos Chicken." he says standing up. I then go into the kitchen and order us food.

"It should be here soon." I say hugging Harry. I dont know why I did it I just did.

"Sorry." I say letting go of him.

"Dont be." he say hugging me again. The doorbell then rings and curse under my breath because they just had to ruin the moment. I open the door to find the delivery guy.

"Wow your hot and all alone." says the guy caughting me by surprise.

"No she is not, her boyfriend is here." says Harry grabbing the guys collar. Harry lifts him up but I grab his arm.

"Come on babe he isnt worth it." I say as Harry sets him down. Harry then takes the food and gives him exact change.

"Arsehole." Harry murmurs as he closes the door. He then goes straight into the kitchen.

"So boyfriend huh?" I giggle going into the kitchen.

"Babe huh?" he mocks which causes me to turn bright red.

"So would you want me to be you boyfriend?" asks Harry I look up at him and shake my head yes. He smiles and comes over to me. "Hello girlfriend." he says kissing me on the lips. Everything around us seems to disappear. He soon pulls away smiling like an idiot.

"Tell me you felt that?" I say.

"I did and it was amazing!" he says as he sits down and eats. I then go next to him.

Both of us finish and clean up. Harry went back to his place to get some clothes he said that he will be back soon.

He is back soon and we go into my room and we both fall asleep cuddled up to each other.
