Chapter 3

~Sayomi POV~

I wake up when I hear birds chirping loudly and light coming in through the openings of the curtains.
I slowly get up and walk over to my closet. I open it and get my uniform from the hanger. I head to the smaller bathroom and change out of my sleeping gown.

After brushing my hair and teeth, I make breakfast. I get my blueberry waffles and drizzle some maple syrup. Once I finished, I wash the dishes, brush my teeth again, and put my lunch inside my backpack. I check myself real quick before heading out.

I check the time. It's 7:28 am?! I quickly run out the door and lock my door. I run down the hall and use the stairs instead of the elevator. When I open the door, Mr. Tanaka is walking into the lobby. I smile and wave at him, heading over.

"Did you sleep well? Do you have everything, miss Kozuki?"

"Hai! Thank you for dinner and picking me up, Mr. Tanaka."

"Your welcome. Let's get going! I wouldn't want you to be late for school!"

"Alright."

We head outside to the car. I get in by myself and Mr. Tanaka enters the driver's seat. We buckle up before he pulls out of the driveway and onto the road. I rest my head in my hand, looking out the window. I hum a tune from one of my favorite childhood shows while I wait to be dropped off at school.

~After a 15 minute drive~

I walk into the school yard after waving goodbye and thanking Mr. Tanaka. I walk to homeroom and when I get there, Teruhashi immediately comes up to me.

"Why did you do that yesterday, Kozuki-san?!"

"Eh...sorry. I was just teasing you. I couldn't help myself." I reply, looking away, acting all innocent.

Teruhashi blushed slightly, causing all of the boys to outburst excitedly.

"Teruhashi looks so lovely!!!!"

"We have been blessed!!!"

"They are so cute!!"

Teruhashi sweatdrops before she turns to look at me.

"O-okay then. See you later!" She quickly turned around and sat down in her seat. An orange haired girl walked over to her and they started talking. I shrug and sat down at my desk. Saiki, Nendou, and Kaido weren't here yet so I just started doodling in my notebook. While I was drawing, a guy with purple hair and black framed glasses came up to me.

"Uh...Hi there. Is no one talking to you, Kozuki-san?"

I turn to look at him.

"No. But, you are. Do you need something?" I cock my head to the side.

His cheeks are dusted pink at my action but he coughs and then replies back.

"Nah. I was just checking up on you. I'm Kuboyasu Aren, by the way."

"Nice to meet you, Kuboyasu-san. That's very nice of you!" I give him a small smile.

He becomes slightly flustered but keeps his composure together.

"N-no problem...Hope you like it here. I'll talk to you later."

I give him a nod. He walks away and I turn to look at my doodle. My rose turned out well but it needed a few more touches here and there. The bell rang and more students came walking into the classroom. I glance back when Saiki, Kaido, and Nendou come walking in. Kaido and Nendou go to talk with Kuboyasu while Saiki just walks past them and sits at his desk. I give him a small wave and he just nods slightly at me. Our homeroom teacher walks in early and waits until all the students are in the classroom. When the bell rings, she starts the lesson and talks about our grades.
