Your POV

I facepalmed. "Great. Now what?" I muttered. I could hear the driver's door open and slam shut as a pair of feet thudded onto the gravel. "Well, we could look for a gas station on foot." Cry suggested. "Who's to say that there is any gas stations around, let alone have actual GAS in it? For all we know, we could be miles away from the nearest gas station!" I exclaimed, jumping out of the backseat and letting my feet hit the gravel with a 'thud'. After jumping out, I heard the impact of two tiny feet hit the ground and scurry to my side. "(Y/N)?" I turned my head to Jamie, who was standing behind me and looking up at me with her big green eyes. "Yes, Jamie?" She played with her feet for a few seconds before whispering, "How long will we be stuck here?" I looked at her and sighed, giving her a truthful answer, "I don't know, kid." Another door slammed shut as the other two still in the car stepped outside. "How about this, me, and (Y/N) will go down the road a bit to see if there's a gas station close by, while Pewds, Jamie, and Brutus look out for anyone who could steal the truck." I heard the small girl next to me make a sound of confusion. "Pewds? Who's Pewds?" She asked me, the emotions on her face overrun by confusion. "Um, that's Felix's nickname." Okay, it was half true. He IS most known by his internet persona, "PewDiePie", anyway. "Oh." She nodded. "Mister Ryan?" Cry turned to her, nodding for her to go on. "C-can I come with you and (Y/N)?" Ryan looked from her, to me, to Pewds, then back to me. I could feel his questioning gaze from under his mask. "I don't think that would be safe, J." She huffed at the nickname and gave a small pout, staring at the ground. I knelt to her height and brushed some of her hair out of her face, tilting her chin up to look her in the eye. "Hey," She averted her gaze and stuck out her bottom lip. "Look at me." She turned her gaze back to me, sadness in her eyes. "Don't worry. I'll be right back. And Felix will be watching you, and he's really fun when you get to know him. But, and you didn't hear this from me," I leaned into her ear. " He can be a real doof sometimes." We giggled and she pulled away, smiling at the ground. "Be safe, okay? I...don't want to lose you..." She said before wrapping her arms around my neck in a hug. "Don't worry. I will." I hugged her back. "(Y/N)!" I jumped back and stood up. "See you later, J." She pouted at the nickname again before waving shyly. "(Y/N)! C'mon, we gotta go, before sunset!" I gave Felix and Jamie one more wave before sprinting over to meet Cry. "So, how far are we walking?" I asked as we started to walk away from the truck. "I don't know. Probably until it looks like it's gonna be dark. And if we find unbitten survivors along the way, we'll pick them up."

Timeskip

We had walked for about a mile or so with nothing found. And it was getting dark. "Well, we should start heading back." "Yeah, before-" A yell erupted from the forest by us, along with pounding footsteps. "LIKE A BOSS!"

I knew that scream from anywhere, and Pewdie would too. The man screaming was the one and only,

Jacksepticeye.
