Your POV

"We've been driving for hours. Isn't there anyplace we can stay?" I heard Sean complain. I hit his arm. "Stop complaining, we all wanna get outta this truck." I muttered, annoyed. Jamie had fallen asleep a while back, her small body cuddled against mine. "Hey, look." Marzia had taken over as the driver and she pointed at a driveway into the woods, leading up to a secluded house. "Oh fuck yeah!" I exclaimed. She stopped the car in front of the path. "Someone wanna check it

out?" Anthony asked. "I could." I volunteered. "You are not going alone." Cry stepped up. "I'm taking Jamie this time. I am not leaving her again." I shook her a bit and her green eyes slowly fluttered open, filled with sleep. "I'll stay back." Marzia spoke. "Felix?" "I'm staying with Marzia." I turned to the other brunette. "Minx?" "I'll come." I turned to the last three boys. "You guys staying or coming?" They looked at each other. "Staying." The three spoke in unison. "Okay, so it's me, Cry,

Minx, and J." The young blonde cocked her head. "What are we doing?" "We found somewhere." She nodded and cast her big green eyes down. We started up the driveway.

"Locked." Fuck. We had checked the whole

perimeter of the house, and every entrance was locked. "Step back." Cry stood in front of the door. "Why?" He slammed his foot into the door. "Woah." He kicked the door again, the

door hitting the doorframe. He pulled his foot up again and slammed it onto the door, grunting as he kept kicking the hard wood of the door. I could tell he was persistent to kick the door in. He slammed his foot into it once more and the door swung open. Minx laughed before commenting, "That was fucking badass!" I laughed along and walked into the house. "Damn, this is one cool house." "It won't be if there are lurker's or people like..." "The fuckers in the Walking Dead?" Cry nodded, chuckling nervously and scratching his neck. "Ha."

We had checked the whole house and surprisingly, no one, not even a lurker, was inside. "Well, we got our safe house."
