"Hey Cam." My mom said as she strolled into the kitchen.

"Oh hey. You didn't feel like taking me to school today?" I asked before I continued eating.

"Cameron there's no school for you to go to."

I almost choked on my food "what?"

She cracked a smile "It's holiday Cameron." She stated.

"Oh." I said half heartedly.

"What, did you want it to be closed down?" she laughed.

".. Maybe." I said with a smirk.

"Ok." She said still Laughing.

  I laid back in my chair and looked up at the mountain out of my glass sliding door, it stood proud like a last line of defense, it's crumbling walls were basking in the glow of the early afternoon. The mountain felt, stable I didn't know how else to describe it. There were no lights, no cars just sheer edges, and peppered sides, it was peaceful, comforting even. Maybe it was just nice to know that there where still places out there that had been explored by few.

I slowly pulled my eye's down and looked at the garden. It was lush, filled by dark greens, with purples and reds mixed in. Most of the plants were my favorite type, ferns they ranged from majestic tree ferns to short, fat shrubs making it look like our garden had traveled back in time.

After 5 minutes of admiring the scenery I finally noticed that my mom was leaving, probably summoned to free the two prisoners.
"She won't be back for at least half an hour." I hummed to myself as I stood up, resisted the urge to sit back down, and walked over to my cupburds. They lined one of the walls in my square rectangle shaped room. I opened the middle one and took out the book that I was reading.

I then plopped onto my bead, rolled onto my side, and brought my knees up to my chest. When I was finally comfortable I began to read.

~~~~~~~~
Just as I was fully immersing myself into the book some movement caught my eye. I tore my eyes from the page and glanced outside. My mom was pulling onto the sidewalk. But, there was something above the car, movement up by the mountin. My eyes flickered down to my jounger sister stepping out of the car and then back to the mountin but, there was nothing, no movement whatsoever. I furrowed my brow...
"wha-" but I was cut short by my sisters opening the front gate.
~~~~~~~~

I layed on the couch as my sisters stepped through the threshold and into the safe house. Tayla's (The elder sister) shoulders visibly relaxed as she did.

"Welcome back."
"How was you're...stay?" I said shaking an imaginary wine glass.

"Oh youknow luv. The usual." She said in thee most British accent I have ever heard.

Kate (My little sister) almost, almost got to her room without me noticing.

"And where do you think you're going?"

She stopped dead in her tracks.
"Um."

"Hmm?" I said raising a brow.

"Te give me luv a hug of course." She said in the cutest British accent.

After a quick hug she was in her room.

I let out a long sigh "Her stealth gets better every day."

Tayla sent me an evil smirk before responding "Oh but of course luv she be better than you before ya know it."

I rolled my eyes "She's good but not that good."

"you be gettin older every day luv." she tutted.

"And so is everyone else" I protested.

"Excuses excuses, you'll be replaced one day ya know."

"..Whatever."

"Ah, accepting defeat is he?"

"No comment." I laughed.
