Closing his eyes he rested his forehead against mine.
"I'm yours angel. All Yours. Sleep now." He whispered.

With that I was pulled into the darkness. I
Hoping when I wake up , everything would be normal again.

But deep down I knew something big was coming. A storm was swirling threatening to wreck my life. A storm named Nikolai King.

I groaned into my pillow searching for my phone on the side table.

"Ughhh hello" my throaty voice greeted

"Sleepyhead wake up! It's noon already! Sage is leaving today!" Kat informed

"What!! I jumped out of the bed too quickly making me dizzy. Why did I drink so much last night.

"I have a major hangover" I whined holding my head in my hand

"Ooh I'm sure, btw Buffy said you left with a handsome hunk last night. Too bad I missed him" I could feel kat smirking from the other side

Handsome hunk. Huh.

It was real! It was all real. The golden eye beauty! Nikolai King.

realisation dawned on me that last night was pretty real. No matter how much I wanted it to be a bad nightmare it wasn't. I looked around searching for any sign of him.

"Hello? Angela are you there?"

"Ya ya I'm right here. I'm gonna get ready I'll see you at the airport" I say ending the call before kat could even reply.

I rushed downstairs carefully not making too much of a noise. Empty.
No one was here. No sign of Nikolai.

Relief. he left for good, I guess.
I was a bit disappointed but shrugged it off. Don't be stupid Angela.

| At the airport |

"I'm gonna miss you sage" I hugged sage

"I'm gonna miss you too, Take care okay? And call me"

"You really have to leave so soon?" Kat questions

"You guys, I'll come back but blake needs me there and the twins" sage replies

"Oh ya send our love the twins" buffy says hugging sage

Bidding our goodbyes we left for the cafe.

"So...about last night?" Kat started
I knew where this conversation was gonna go and honestly I was not ready for it.

"No" I groaned

"Ohmmg kat he was soooooooooo hot! Bad boy vibess!! You should have seen him kat!" Buffy spoke Fangirling over him

"Shut up" I rolled my eyes

"No way! You lucky bitch. Did he do naughty things to you?" Kat teased smirking

"What-th noooo" heat Rushing to my face
"You guys stop it. Nothing happened. He just dropped me home and that's it." I didn't tell them the whole truth because I knew they would freak out and go all protective mode on me.

Moreover my memory was a bit hazed. I just wanted to forget everything and get on with my life.

Reaching the cafe we fell into our routine. It was almost closing time, I had some paper work to do so decided to stay back. Buffy had already left with alex. Kat was cleaning up the counter.
"Okay Ann I'm done, are you sure you gonna stay back? I can wait for you" kat asked making her way towards the office.

"It's cool kat, you go home. I'll be done in an hour or so. I'll be fine" I say waving her off

"Well.. okay then. Call me when u reach home okay" kat says grabbing her bag.

"Goodnight"

Sometime later

I was almost done with my work when I heard shuffling noise outside the office. What the hell.

"Kat..? Is that you? Did you forget something or what? "
Getting up from my seat I opened the office door revealing none other than Nickolai king. He looked freshly shaven. Breathing in his musky scent I admired every contour of his gorgeous face. His hair gelled back making my fingers itch to run through them. He was Wearing a crisp blue suit. Top buttons of his shirt undone, his smooth tattooed chest peaping through it. My eyes travelled all the way up to his eyes, oh how I missed those forest green eyes. Golden tendrils circled his eyes like the holy fire, captivating me. How can someone be this gorgeous.

"Hello, love" he says smirking
Oops he caught me checking him out.

"Hi" I squeaked suddenly embarrassed

"Liked what you see , angle"

"I've seen better" I retorted
It was a total lie. No guy could hold a candle against this fine ass specimen.
He was indeed a Fine work of god.

"The blush on your cheeks says otherwise" he states making his way inside the office

"What are you even doing here ?" Changing the subject i asked him.

"I came to see you, simple"

"Came to see me? Seriously? Well Romeo it's creepy. Are you stalking me now ? How did you even know where I work? " I asked suddenly curious.

"I have my sources. And no I'm not stalking you. I'm here to take you out on a date" he states looking deep into my eyes.

"Date? What makes you think I'm gonna go on a date with you?" I raised my eyebrows folding my arms.

"Come on Angel! Take a chance. Get to know me. I dare you."

"I...you know your first impression wasn't so impressive"

"Them give me chance to redeem myself. Let's start fresh. I won't bite I promise, unless you want me to." He says giving me his charming devilish grin.

Hmm. I won't deny the fact that I'm attracted to him. And I guess a date wouldn't harm anyone. And god knew I wanted some change in my life so bad. This was a perfect chance.

"Okay" I say finally give in
"But not today , I'm tired and would like to go home alone. Pick me up tomorrow 7 pm" I say clearing up my desk .

"Thank you sweetheart. I promise you won't regret this" he grasps my hand kissing my knuckles lightly.
This little gesture made my heart flutter.

Oh boy what have I gotten myself into.

Finally our lover boy has scored a date! What do you guys think?
