"Hi Kate."

She tried to open her eyes. It was impossible, it hurts. She tried so hard but simply can't open them.

"You're safe here, rest."

She can hear words but she has no clue of what's going on. The voice was extremely soothing. She wanted to hear it until forever ends. Did I exaggerate that much?

Hums of machine were heard. Eerie sounds travel through the surroundings. Not sure, but she had the feeling there were no harm here.

She now, can open her eyes. Slowly, she gasped as she saw medical wires run all over her body. She tried to take them off. But it was agonizing, as if the wires were part of her body-her skin. She breathed heavily, and noticed that she was maybe, just maybe, on a hospital. Beeps of the heart machine was right next beside her. Syringe and other medical tools were right next beside her bed. She was laying down.

The room was quadrilateral. No windows, nor door. This can't be a hospital. She saw about fifteen girls. They too were in a position like hers. All of them were heavily asleep.

Someone approached her. And he was untying the wires. He was holding this device-remote to remove everything from Kate.

While the guy was doing his job, a flash of memory hit Kate. The incident, the Enderson incident.

"How long, do you think you've been asleep?" the guy asked.

If he wasn't that attractive I'm sure Kate wouldn't respond, though she was really excited to answer, she respond with a lazy voice, "I don't know ... a week?"

The guy answered, "A day," it feels almost a month now.

Questions that popped in her head seems to have bothered her, how'd I got here? What happened to my  parents? She wanted to ask but the guy continued, "You're the fastest of them, I know you're tired, don't bother answer." Kate wasn't wearing anything but an ugly t-shirt and a  pair of pants. She looked down to her t-shirt and noticed it has two letters imprinted; CS.

"Now, now," the guy said while injecting something into Kate's lower neck. She's supposed to feel weaker but it looks like the injected serum was an energizer. She never felt so good before, it was amazing, superb. "Go take a shower, get some clothes, and we'll tell you everything later."

We, are you saying there's more? The guy was about to go, he paused and introduced himself, "I'm Jacob." He turned away and left. Kate stared at him as he walked away. The form of his body was very familiar. The dog that Kate bump into, days earlier has the excact body formation as that of Jacob. She was now horrified. The feeling of safety ran away in a place of total darkness. She was sure, it was that dog, the dog that has the collar says they've been watching her. She wants to go rest, but she was as energized as ever. She felt so alive, she could lift 20 tons of metal right now-that was the feeling.

"How could I possibly go take a bath?" Kate mumbled. She does have a point, there were no windows nor doors. Well, somehow a box, a rectangular one was visible not far away from the last girl who was stiff at sleeping. She jogged to go nearer to this fancy gizmo. It was shiny-silver white. The shape was door like and not to mention the heightA holographic hand was detectable. To turn the power on, push hand.

Kate did the exact same thing as the machine told her. And now there were even more holographic options. This includes BATHROOM, DRESS, SHOWER.

It was really advance- it was high technology. Kate has never seen something like this. She pressed bathroom, and the widget instructed her to go inside the box. She did. The box was shaking, and the hum, the exact same one she heard awhile ago was what she heard. After a moment a female robotic voice was heard. "Destination successfully reached," it repeated for three times until the door finally opened.

She pressed bathroom but it took her in an office. The guy Jacob was there and two others. Jacob was the only guy, I mean man. Well Kate was a little distracted. She stared at Jacob. He's got blue eyes, and a damn  muscular body. His smile seems to calm Kate's depression.

Both the ladies were in a suit, Jacob was wearing sleeveless. The first thing that Kate noticed was the word in their shirts, CS.

"Good day, miss Johnson."
