The life - A bughead story

The waiting room

Jugs POV.
I stopped to take a deep breath and turned around because I realized that my reaction was uncalled for. There was no reason to treat my pregnant girlfriend like that.
As soon as I opened the door I say Betty on the ground followed by blood and some water I think. I ran to her and to get on the ground I kinda slid and crushed my knee caps but that didn't matter.
I dont understand she was fine a minute ago. I thought to myself. She is in pain and she looks so pale and blue. I stand up and grab the phone and called 911.

A couple hours later I found my self shattered in a hospital waiting room. My hair draped over my face and I barely moved. I think this is what shock feels like. I finally moved an inch to get in a comfier position. Should I call Archie, my dad, I didn't know what to do so I just sat there and waited.. and waited.. I got up to walk around the hospital and I walked from one hallway to the next over and over tell my phone rang from my pocket startling me. I looked down to read the name and saw it was my dad I debated whether or not to answer it I eventually did.
"Hello" I said so softly and effortlessly.
"Jug where are you I'm at your trailer. Your not here neither is Betty and Is that blood on the floor?"
"Umm I'm at the hospital" is all I get out."
"What? Is betty okay are you?"
"I don't know" is all I say. Before starting to cry.
"I'm on my way"
Not long after that I was back in the same chair I started in now waiting for my dad. I see him walk in the main entrance as an old couple we're walking out The old man was pushing what was probably his wife in a wheelchair. To be honest it made me happy.
"Jug, what happened" my dad ask sitting in the chair besides me.
"I don't know, we got in a fight, I took a walk came back and she was sitting on the floor, he water broke and then there was just a lot of blood."
"Have they given you an update?"
"Umm no, no one has talked to me sense I got here."
"What?!, excuse me mam" he says getting up trying to talk to the woman at the front desk
"Is there any update on Elizabeth cooper."
"Sir when I get an update I will you tell you now I'm going to have to ask you to take a seat." She says as she point to the chairs
And me and my dad just sit there and wait..
Eventually Alice and Archie showed up with Veronica I'm guessing my dad called them but again it didn't matter how many people came it was just a giant waiting game.
