The gameplan

Hal cooper... abusive alcoholic ass, father of twins that he never knew he had, set out revenge on any one that hid it from him. After several attempts to kill Alice and Betty not caring about the damage he caused in between he confessed to his crimes not before he was shot in the shoulder he was sentenced to life in prison.

5 months later
Jugs POV
I was working my shift at pops, I was wiping the counter when I saw Betty walk in with axel in his car seat at her hip she had the biggest smile in her face which spread to me.
"Hey gorgeous" I say kissing her on the cheek immediately bending down to axel.
"Hey little man," I say grabbing the car seat from her
She walked to a booth lugging the diaper bag I followed her.
"So what are you doing here?"
"What I cant surprise my sexy, boyfriend at work"
"Mmmm sexy?" I ask playfully going in for another kiss lifting her chin with just one finger kissing her again. Although it did make me cringe when she called me her boyfriend, I want to be more.
"So can I get you anything?" I ask while setting the car seat down next to her.
"Hmm pleaseeee, just surprise me and a vanilla milk shake.
"Of course," I turned around and walked back behind the counter when archie walked in with Veronica by his side and Alice followed after. Alice went immediately to betty and Archie and Veronica sat at the counter talking to me while I made Betty's milkshake.
"Did you get it?" Archie asked piercing over the counter with a huge smile.
"Get what?" Ronnie asks
I pull out a ring that was my mother's and show it to them discreetly.
"Oh my god your going to propose?" Ronnie squeals
Followed by us shhhhing her.
"Tomorrow night, do you guys mind watching axel for the day."
Archie of course said yes any chance he got to spend with his nephew he took it. Ronnie had an unsure look though. which Archie saw
"Babe, is everything okay?" Archie asked her
"Yea, just me and babies don't go well." Ronni replied.
"What do you mean?"
I began to feel like they were going to fight so I walked away it was none of my business.

Back at the table where Betty and Alice we're sitting
Betty's POV.
I handed mom the baby every time she holds him she cry's. it's so weird "mom"... I had a mom. I feel like my life could get any better.
"Are you hungry do you wanna order anything?" I ask her
"No, I'm actually going on a date."
"A date?" I repeat when the little bell at pops rang with fp walking in.
"You ready Al," he asked
My face went into shock.. awkward shock than I just gave an awkward smile.
"You guys are going on a date?" I said grabbing axel back ready getting ready to feed him.
"We are" fp said
"Why is that wierd?"Alice asked panicking
"No, not at all, have fun!" I said laughing
I put axel under a blanket that was also over my shoulder so I could feed him. Jug came over and sat down a plate with some fries and a burger along with my milkshake. I took a fry of the plate and took a bite.
"I think your dad and Alice just went on a date." I said
"What?, that's kinda weird but okay..". We both laughed and he sat across from me took a fry too.
"So betts, how bout you and I spend the whole day together, Archie agreed to watch axe and I already planned something special.."
"How can I say no, but I also have a gift for you" I told him.
"Well I can't wait,"
