Ara had spent three hours after her conversation with Add simply hitting a thick tree with her long spear. Ara tried focusing on training but tears kept blurring her vision as she practiced old and new techniques. Rena was right, it had started rain, at first light and slow but then turned to a downpour.
Ara welcomed the rain as she continued to practice. The skin on her hands slowly started to bleed as her spear would rub away more skin. The pain soothed Ara, helped her forget about her broken heart.
Ara soon felt exhausted but rushed herself further. She needed to push it to the limit or she wouldnt get stronger. Ara tried to focus but her vision darkened and she felt dizzy. Trying move forward Ara fell back as she blacked out. the last thing she saw was the dark grey clouds crying over her, just as she had been crying.
Were the clouds sad too? Ara never thought clouds to have emotions but what if it rained everytime there was a heart break? that's silly she thought. or it would rain all the time. Ara's thoughts soon faded as she let the pain and exhaustion take over.
