What others don't see

Ara awoke to a whisper in her ear. "please wake up." Ara's eyes slowly opened, registering her surrounding. Still in the clearing the woods, but under a tree. where it was dry and warm? Looking down she saw a coat covering her. It certainly looked familiar and realized why when she looked up and saw the usually cold and bored, now the relieved Add.

    Add quickly went back to his usual face when he realized Ara was staring. "Your so reckless for staying our in the rain." he began to bandage her bleeding hands. "Honestly your so dumb." Ara pulled her hand back away from him and he looked surprised. "Just stop..please.."Ara whimpered. she couldn't take any more insults from him. "I..I..Im sorry.." he said. "Will you tell me what's wrong?" Ara stared at her hands then nodded.

      Ara told Add everything from her demon brother, her village, to being the last survivor. at the end she was sobbing. struggling to get the words out. "i-its all so hard..*sob* I couldn't save them and now i might not be able to save my brother..." before Ara could continue Add had his lips pressed against hers. his lips were soft and warm, and tasted slightly like honey, which Ara loved.

     Add pulled back slowly, his cheeks a shade of pink. "i-im sorry. I thought it would work since Raven does it whenever Rena is upset." he turned his face embarrassed. Ara touched her lips lightly. the realization that she had been kissed made her cheeks heat up.

    Add looked at Ara with curiosity. "why are you pink?" Ara laughed. "your pink too you know." Add smiled a little. Ara then went serious and grabbed his hand. "Add why are you usually so cold?" Add explained that he had lost his clan too and that after spending years alone, he doesn't know how to deal with people other than be blunt and mean.

Ara began to understand why he was so cold but remembered he was interested in Eve but just kissed her! "but aren't you in love with Eve?" Ara asked. " what i feel with Eve is not love. purely curiosity." he replied.

  Ara began to have hope that maybe she could really be with Add. that it was just one more step towards something more. Ara desperately hoped she could be the one who sees things others don't see
