Ok so this might be short and its like mega overdue im so super duper sorry that I am like 14 requests behind. I have just been really busy but I'm on break so I will try to update daily even if it destroys my already nonexistent sleep schedule. this is kinda hard for me as well cause I didnt have to many ideas. btw readers magic is that she can use her shadow as like an extension of her body/ 

It all started with a game, just one small game with little to bet on each side but pride. sadly we could never even imagine just how far we would fall into this little game. It was fun at first the playful flirts and little attempts to make each other jokingly jealous. It was all fun and games with jokes strewn in between till one fate full day a couple of weeks ago when the joke came to an end.  

I sprinted down the fall laughing happily as my "boyfriend" of two years chased after me with out friend Pj. you see my friend Star and I had jokingly started 'dating' about two years ago. We had started it as a little dare, we would jokingly date, play like a couple, act like a couple the whole thing. But the first one to actually fall in love loses. fortunately I had been in love with  him even before all of this so these past two years had been like a dream come true for me. well almost, see thing is we had never kissed or anything like that. sure we did pecks on the cheeks and we cuddle that kind of thing but we had never actually kissed. Because one of us initiating a kiss would mean that we had given in and actually fallen in love. Of course me being me I never wanted the joke to end so I kept up the little charade, I knew it wasn't real love for him but it was real for me and even if we could just fake it till Christmas I would tell him the truth. 

Of course that meant this would all be over soon soon seeing as it was the week before Christmas. I was soon snapped out of my thoughts when I was jokingly tackled to the floor. "Give me back my jacket." my friend Pj said as he sat on my legs not letting me get up. "Nope it's to comfortable." I said popping the p as I wrapped Pjs letterman around me tightly. " ok then you will get the tickle attack!"  Pj screamed before tickling me causing me to burst into frantic laughter. "N-noooo Pj s-s-stt-taaahp!" i giggled out breathless. Suddenly Pj was lifted off of me and I look to my right to see Star standing there glaring at Pj. 

"So pal making the moves on my girlfriend eh?" he said annoyance lacing his voice almost making it seem like he was jealous. "which of course I thought was impossible. "Oi Star calm down man we were just playing." I said as I used my shadow to grab his jacket and yank him down on the floor with a stunned Pj.  "hehe nice one N/n." Pj said as He ruffled my hair before pulling me into a bone crushing hug. "Pj can't breathe" i said taping his back oblivious to the fact that he was looking behind me smirking at a pissed off Star. 'What jealous? I know you guys aren't really dating so I don't see why I can't ask her to date me." he mouthed to Star who glared at him with a raging fire burning in his eyes. "You wouldn't dare." Star mouthed only to get a sly smirk as a response. 

Stars pov                                                                                                                                                                                    I felt a slight panic rise up within me mixing with my overwhelming jealously. 'What if she did return his feelings?' the thought swirled withing my head as the jealousy rose higher and higher. Sure I had agreed to this game knowing that I was getting into a relationship in which my feelings were only fakely reciprocated but I knew the risks. I had faith that I could get her to fall for me in this time while also getting anyone else who might like her to back off. But it has been so hard to not kiss her over these two years. from our cuddling to the late night chats about how we were feeling to watching her fall asleep well we face timed. Through all of this I had kept my composure knowing that if I could just get her to fall for me them it would all be ok. But lately she has been so close with Pj and now he knows the secret. I think maybe she likes him, and maybe just maybe I could lose her. 

Then as if acting by complete impulse I grabbed Y/n tightly pulling her away from Pj as I teleported us to her room so that we were sitting on her floor. "Star what the cheezit?" Y/n said as she turned to look at me giving me an adorably confused look. "Screw it." I said under my breathe before taking a complete leap of faith. 

normal pov                                                                                                                                                                                Star closed his eyes leaning forward. I closed mine as well yearning for a kiss that never came. "No I can't do that to you." I heard him mutter as he suddenly got up and began pacing. "I can't take your first kiss you don't even like me." I heard him mutter which caused tears to well up in my eyes. 'He thinks I don't like him.' I rushed over to him hugging him from behind as i buried my face into his fluffy jacket. "You're a giant idiot you know." I said as I hugged him tighter after hearing him hiccup slightly as if he was crying. "The only reason I agreed to any of this was because I have been head over Roses platform heals in love with you for as long as I can remember." I said as I turned him around and kissed him.  

"Another happy prediction achieved." Rose signed to Pj looking at the Instagram post the "new" couple had made. "Good job Pj now she can stop worrying about them." Rose wrote on the white board. " yeah I know after all lord knows I wouldn't flirt with anyone outside of her unless it helped her."
