"Well why don't you take me to Alabama, and call me your cousin. It's Jiwoo."

"Well why don't you cut off my head, and call me a chicken. It's Yoojung."

That's how we always approach each other. Yoojung and I, that is. Yoojung has been my friend since I came out of the womb. Let me explain: our moms were friends. They got pregnant around the same time, and had us around the same time. It can be cool, or weird, depending on the person.

"So sweets, how was your Single Sunday yesterday?"

I sigh, "It was perfectly fine until this dude messaged me."

She gasps, " How dare he... what did he say?"

"He kept asking me if I wanted to a play a game and—" I was cut off.

"Why, hello there ladies."

Great. I was cut off by Jaehyun. Or should I be thanking him? I don't know if I should tell Yoojung about what happened. Anyways, getting back to Jaehyun. We have nothing against him— except for the fact that he flirts with us with every chance he gets. It's cute, at times, but mostly annoying.

We roll our eyes in synch, "Morning, Jaehyun."

"How are you two doing on this fine morning?"

Yoojung answers, "Just fine. Now can we have some priva—"

"JEFFERY!"

The latter turns, "JOHNNY!"

Oh God. Once you get Johnny and Jaehyun together, they don't stop. What a great way to start a Monday morning.

While those two were making their ends meet, Yoojung and I slipped away. We walked into the hallway to go to our lockers. Hint: we're locker buddies. She starts, " What did that guy say afterwards?"

It took me a moment to answer. I get the fact that Yoojung is my best friend, practically my sister, but it feels kind of out of place to tell her. I shook off that feeling though. "Well, he wouldn't stop asking me the question until I said yes."

"Did you say yes?"

"Yeah, but then after that my screen bugged out and went black. And get this: when I said yes, he sent back a text in some weird font that said 'Simon says survive.' It was super weird."

I was waiting for a remark from Yoojung, but when I closed my locker, her attention was directed to behind me. I snap my fingers in her face, "Yoo, Yoo~? Did you even hear me?"

Yoo shyly raised her hand and fumbled out words, "Hi M-Mark."

I shocked by her words. When I turned around, there was Mark Lee staring directly at me. He looked just as shocked as I was. He steps closer to me.

"Was the username lowercase simon with a dot on each side?"

His words confused me a bit. How could he know about that? I kept staring at his eyes with the same question. Puzzled, I squint my eyes, "Yeah...but how did you know that?"

He breathes in and runs his fingers in his hair— in a rushed manner. He walks forward, " Follow me."

"What?"

"I said follow me." He grabbed my wrist and pulled me with him. I don't know why he was in such a rush. His speed walk was more of a run, for me. I mean, I do have short legs.

We kept going along the hallways, but I couldn't recognize what part of the school we were in. It looked empty and old. It was like an older version of the school.
