CH 18 Happy Ending

5 years later

Kara POV

I wake up to crying in the babies room so I get up and walk down the hall to the door and open it to see Noah standing holding the crib wall in his Micky Mouse onesie I sigh and pick him up saying in a baby voice "look who's awake" then I hear Barry say in a raspy voice "you happy for your 1st birthday Noah" I look down and give Noah a little poke on the nose that makes him yawn witch makes my heart warm as always I start crying and Barry asks "what's wrong baby" I turn to face him and say "nothings wrong I just can't believe Noah is gonna be one and Nora's gonna be five in two days" he pulls me to his chest and we hug but not tight so we don't squeeze Noah I stand there in his warm and strong arms when Nora comes in while wearing her Barbie pajamas and says "mommy I'm hungry" I smile at her then say "I'll make pancakes" and hand Noah to Barry who grabs him and raises him up while roaring witch makes Noah laugh warming my heart but I turn and walk to the kitchen and grab the mic from the pantry and the measuring cup from the cabinet above the stove then I start cooking and before I know it I'm thinking back to the day I told Alex I was pregnant with Nora

(Kara thunking back to that night)

Alex covers her mouth in shock then says "I'm gonna be a grandma wait how far along are you" that shocked me bc I didn't know how far along I was so I said "I don't know like a month or so" Alex nodded then says "it's Barry's right" I nod she continues "have fun raising a speedy fast baby that can probably fly" that made me think because what if the baby had our powers then it would be even harder to raise it my thinking is stoped when my phone rings and I answer it without looking who is calling

Me: yeah

Barry⚡️😘: where are you

Me: I'm at Alex's why

Barry⚡️😘: oh I was just worried

Me: oh well I'm coming back

Barry⚡️😘: ok see you when you get back

Me: ok bye baby

Barry⚡️😘: bye baby

I look at Alex and say "I'll see you later" Alex said back fast "are you gonna tell him I sigh and say "yeah I'm gonna" she nods and I fly away

(Kara snaps back to reality)

I feel Barry shaking me a little saying "baby your burning the pancakes I look at him and say "sorry I was just thinking" he gave me a confused look and said "what were you thinking about" he puts Noah down and he runs over to Nora I smile and look back to Barry saying "I was thinking about the night I found out I was pregnant with Nora" he hugs me and says "that was the best night of my life" I laugh and say "me too"
