Blue and yellow crocus
Push up bravely through the snow,
Trying hard not to get trampled
By the passing horses.
Grandpa Didus sits quietly on the porch
Smoking his long pipe,
Grandma's samovar whistles like a songbird
In the kitchen.
Time for chai !
