★ Leah's POV ★

They stared at me in an anticipated look. I don't know what to say. Nate alone can rock the show himself, It's been quite a while since I performed in school and that was in senior year high school with Carls.

'OK! I'll do it.' I responded happily. I guess I could give it a try.

'Yay!' Rachel cheered. I just chuckled at her reaction.

I looked at Nate who was just silently grinning.

'I think that's enough for today, loves.' Rachel knocked a tune on top of the piano.

Well that was fun. I stood up and out stretched my muscles, and so did Nate, brushing my shoulders on the process. Rachel saw that and winked at me.

'It was nice of you to come, Leah. It's always nice to have a new company. Nate and I are bored from each other.'

Nate agreed by nodding, attempting to look serious but failed anyway. I tried to play along by pretending to believe them, but failed also.

'Wait, what? No way, I love you Rachel!' he exaggerated. He tries hugging her, but she brushes him away playfully.

Rachel took him back and gave him a short brief hug, patting his back. I stopped laughing and ended up smiling at the scene. They look pretty comfortable with each other like mother and son. I can tell that Rachel sees him as one.

'Now off you go, love birds. I got a class to teach, students to bore.' Rachel shooed us away by playfully pushing us out the door.

'Bye Rachel!' I waved at her while at the door. Nate has his hand on the small of my back again, I almost shivered at the touch.

Nate and Rachel exchanged goodbyes and we are off the building.

'You got any plans tonight?' Nate asked.

'Not that I know of, why?' I said. Ok, I admit I kinda know what's the reason or not. Maybe he's going to ask me out or just hang out, I don't know but my heart started to pound and my stomach is starting to fill with butterflies.

'Ok cool, are you free right now?' he asked.

Knew it.

'Where are we going?' I asked as I let Nate take my hand and drag me wherever we're going. I seem to have no clue yet. He pulled me to his car, which isn't much, a red Honda civic.

'Hop in.' he opened my door for me.

'Are you hungry?' he asked me.

'Yea, a bit.' Since I only get to eat a sandwich at lunch from those girl's teasing about Nate and me.

'Good.' he said and he started the car. A song from the radio automatically played when he did.

What does he mean by just "good"?

He was backing out of his parking lot when he caught me looking at him.

'What?' he asked suspiciously.

'Nothing.' I genuinely said but I can't help but smile to make him think I'm thinking something mischievous.

He looked at me longer, giving me his "I'm not falling for it" look but returned his eyes on road for safety.

'I swear!'

'You can change the station if you want.' he said.

I finally settled on a station that plays top songs on the chart and new released songs.
