The Next Day

   The next day when I woke up I couldn't get out of bed. I probably stayed there for almost a hour thinking about last night - thinking about Dylan.

   It wasn't until I heard Jennifer get up that I sat up in bed.

    "Morning." I mumbled.

    Jennifer went into the bathroom and came back out five minutes later. I was already trying to go back to sleep.

    "Nooo." She singed. "Get back up it's almost twelve! There goes our day."

   "I'm soo tired." I said under the blankets.

   "Me too." Jennifer replied.

   That was that. We went back to sleep. Last night we didn't go to sleep until three in the moring.

   It wasn't until almost two in the afternoon that I woke up again because my phone was ringing.

    "Hello?" I said but it came out more like a whisper. 

   "Did you just wake up?" The person said back.

   "Yeah.."

    "I woke you." *laughs* "Call me back when you're up."

    I said okay but by the time I finished the person hung up.

    I layed there in bed while I called out to Jennifer.

    "Ugh .. um" She said.

   Then I decided to check who called. Dylan. Of course. I couldn't help but smile. Then I realized that it was already two in the afternoon!

   That got me up.

    I went over to Jennifer's bed and started jumping on it.

    "Stop!!" She said.

   "Nooo you need to get up! It's already two in the afternoon!"

    "What?"

   "It's 2 o'clock!"

    That got her up too.

    After we got ready and ate lunch. I checked my phone which I now had 11 new text messages from Dylan. So I called him.

   "OMG I thought you died!" He said once he answered.

   "Nope I'm very much alive."

   "Good haha so have you been sleeping all this time?"

   "Yeah.." I trialed off.

   "So we're not going to do anything today?" He said and I could tell he was frowning.

    "Well it's already three."

    "You guys have nothing plan?"

    "I think we might go to a museum or something."

   "Am I invited?"

   "I-I think we might do this on our own."

   "Oh oh alright" He said. "So why don't you guys go to the museum and eat dinner then come over and we can watch some movies."

   "At your place?"

   "Yeah why not?"

   "Umm. Yeah. I'll ask Jennifer."

   "Alright. Call me when you know."

    After I hung up, I explained to Jennifer what Dylan said and she went off about how I should go on my own. I would love to - really - but not yet.
