Chapter 2:

Arriving in my driveway, I stalled a little just sitting in the car. Nothing could prepare me for the force of nature that is my mother. She was the devil in Gucci. She wanted us both to be like her. A cheerleader all through high school, dating the quarterback and being invited to all the parties. She didn’t even care if we didn’t come home one night. As long as we were spending it with an athlete she didn’t care. Feeling complete with my rant I turned off the car and approached my most certain doom. I was ready to be grounded. Sent to my room for all eternity. I didn’t really care about all of that, all I wanted was her approval and after tonight I wouldn’t have it anymore. It’s not like I had it to begin with but I now would be the disappoint of the family…. It would be horrible. I would be disgraced. With my sister as queen bee at the school everyone would be turned on me. Opening the door, I was faced with the disappointed looks of my parents.

“Where have you been?” My father inquired keeping a straight face.

“Nuh-nowhere.” I stuttered back.

“You know as well as I do that’s not true. Your sister called crying after she had to kick you off the squad.” My mom said.

“She’s the one that kicked me off, I didn’t quit.” I talked back.

“How dare you.” My mom gasped. Biting her lip. I could sense her biting back the tears.

Stalking off to my room I slammed the door. Curling up on my bed the tears came silently. Dropping slowly then faster, soon my face was covered in my tears. Shuttering at the feeling that overcame me I sighed. Turning on ‘All the Rage’ by Blood on The Dance Floor. Listening to the music a sense of security came over me. Curling up in my blanket I fell into a deep slumber.

Walking around I noticed my surroundings, I was in a castle. The cross breeze chilled me down. Shivering my steps slowed. Hearing a deafening, blood curdling scream pierce the silence in the air. Picking up my pace once again I began running towards the origin of the noise. Walking past the stone walls, covered in woven tapestries that gave the castle a frigteneing aura. Arriving at the sound I awoke.

Covered in sweat, fear was visible in my eyes.  I looked around, seeing my room the same as when I fell asleep I calmed down. Finally realizing it was Saturday I came to the conclusion that I would be stuck with a day full of ‘fun’ with my family.

Thinking of ways to escape the day with my sisters and mothers disappointment the door opened. Awaiting the torture to start…..

I'm sorry for not updating sooner. I just was at my friends house for a couple of days. We went to the Ren Fest. That was fun stuff. Oh so I want 7 reads and 2 comments before I update. My standards are getting better. ^_^
