Chapter 3

*flashback*

Third person POV:

It was a cold rainy day
No one wanted to be outside
Well, no one but Taehyung
Taehyung loved the rain
The cold raindrops sending chills through his body
He smiled as he walked through it
He was so happy today
He finally confessed
Jimin was his now his
His world was complete
He watched as cars went by
People rushed to get shelter from the rain
The stoplight finally turned red
He saw the cars come to a stop
He walked across the street
He was so happy
So happy that he didn't notice
He didn't notice the car going straight for him

*End of flashback*

JungKook's POV:

"He didn't wake up until after 3 months. And after he did, he only remembered our parents and me. He lost memory of everyone. But, life went on. He finally got better and got discharged from the hospital. But a month later, everyone who he had met was wiped from his memory. We didn't know what was wrong. The doctors didn't know what was wrong. But every month,  he forgets. He forgets everyone except for my parents and I. He needs complete supervision. He doesn't know how to drive, so I always take him to his doctors appointments. I need someone to be there for him. And we'll, I've seen how you look at him Jeon. I can see that you like him. And I can trust that you would care for him. So that is why I am asking you. I know it will be a big burden, and I know that he will forget you after a month, but I really don't have anyone to take care of him."

Namjoon finishes his explanation and looks at me with pleading eyes.

I can't give up this opportunity but
I know myself.
I know I'll get too attached
And when that month passes and he forgets me....
I don't know if I'd be able to take it

But I would give anything for Tae right?

I shake my head softly, shooing away any negative thoughts

"Yeah. I'll do it."
