P.O.V Jessie

Ring Ring Ring Ring

My whole grade 9 class shot up from their seats as they heard this bell. Ignoring whatever the teacher said about homework, we ran out that door before anyone could stop us.

IT WAS HALLOWEEN! Every student in grade 9 was excited for this night, each for different reasons. Some to go trick or treating for the last time. Some to sneak into grade 10 or 11 parties. Others to go into haunted houses. Me and my friends were none of these. We were gonna stay over at my place to watch movies. Since my family lived in a condo, we would not have to worry about trick or treaters, or pranks.

Before we went to my place, we went to Starbucks to get some drinks. While me and Chloe were in line to buy the drinks, we turned around and noticed the group of boys behind us.

P.O.V Chloe
Jess and I were waiting in line at Starbucks when we looked behind us and saw Justin, Cole and Roger in line.

"Hey Jess." Roger said.

"Hi Roger..." She said.

Just to catch you up, Jess has a major crush on Justin, but we have a theory that Roger might like her since he is always annoying her, and talking with her. Whenever me and the girls say this, she says that she does not believe us and that they are just friends.

"Hey Jessie. What are you doing here?" Justin asked her.

I looked over to her, and saw her turn red, since Justin was talking to her.

"We were just getting some drinks for Kristin, Natalie and Harper. After we were gonna go to Jessie's place to watch movies." I answered for her.

"Oh, well me and the guys were gonna go check out a haunted house. You wanna join us?" Cole said.

Now it was my turn to blush. Me and Kristin both like him, but we are cool about it.

"Yeah, you wanna come?" Justin asked.

"We Would Love To Come!" Jess said, a bit too excited.

"Girl, chilllllll." I whispered to her.

"I mean, we have to ask the other girls first."

"Nice save." I whispered as I stifled a giggle.

P.O.V Justin
We waited in line behind the girls, and I began to think. I know that Jess likes me, since it spilled out during our French class, but I never say anything.

That's because as soon as Roger found out, he started to tease her about it, and he started to like her. The thing is, after we had to work on a Geography project just me and her, I started to like her.

I never say anything, because Roger really likes her, so I would just wait until he gets over it. Then I will make my move.

"Hey dude! Help us hold these drinks." Cole said.

"Yeah, sure." I grabbed two of the drinks and walked over to the rest of the guys.

Once I reached them, I put down the drinks and Roger said.

"Cole and Justin invited some girls to the haunted house."

"Ooohhhh, what girls did you two invite?" Nick asked.

"We invited Chloe, Jessie and them." Cole said.

"Why those girls?" Said Cameron, with a look of disgust.

"Because they are nice, and plus Roger likes Jess. We are all doing him a favour." Cole snapped at him.

At this moment the girls came over.

"Hey guys. We talked about it, and decided that we would love to come over to the haunted house." Jess said.

"Great, it's decided. Come to this address. I will text it to you." I told her.

I sent her the address, and we all said to meet there at 7pm. And with that, we left to go get our stuff.
