"RENE!!!" Mom screamed out
"What's it mom?? Why r u screaming???" I said
Mom stepped inside the room in anger "Stop gluing ur self in ur phone and come down and talk with ur uncle and aunt they will live in an hour now"
"Good for them mom... u know I hate talking with people" I said
"Rene u r doing the same thing now can u keep ur phone aside for a sec and spend time with ur family... uncle Mathew and Aunt Sussy have travelled from India all the way to LA and u...."
"Mom please don't start with ur lecture I am talking with Cara right now... we are deciding over my bday dress..." I said
"U will regret this soon darling" Mom said closing the door
~Beep~
Cara: hey dude the black gown looks cute and it's the best one for a bday girl..
Me: yea...bt then I am skinny....
Cara: order it in 'S' size it will fit u
Me: I don't want to embarrass myself later by going with mom to the tailor for stiching the waist and shoulder areas like I did for Allesha's bday party..
Cara: can u like gain weight in 15 days??
Me: yea u expect me to do something that I couldn't do for the last 2 months
Cara: bt dude u don't hve any option left... start drinking ur protein drinks sincerely
Me: I throw that away... ew no I wont drink it...
Cara: then forget abt ur dress gurl.... or else let's go for shopping today what say??
Me: no the weather is good I will sit at home and scroll thru insta
Cara: bitch I will pick u up at 5 be ready
Me: hell no...
Cara: hell yeas I will talk to aunty... anyways gtg mom wants the phone

My bday is after 15 days and my bestie is more worried abt the dress than me... I hve another bestie Angel bt actually she is a freaking devil... she is currently on a visit to Dubai and she will be back by 2 days.. I m wondering how can I fit myself into beautiful dresses as I am skinny this is always the problem I face when I go out with mom... I don't usually go out of the house much as I am not an active person... I just love my phone and I love texting my friends and making online friends ofc.. I hate "socialising" i don't even know if that's a word in the dictionary bt yea... as I am a lazy person I don't spend much time on makeup, I just grab my Lip balm and that's what my knowledge of makeup is up to... my mom knows alot of stuff on makeup and I usually spend my pocket money on hanging out with friends or buying new phone, earphones, etc etc..
"Honey!" it sounded like dad...
"Oh dad it's u" I usually drop down my phone to talk with dad... TBH I don't talk much with people bt when it comes to dad I talk abt 30 mins or more than that with dad... I like talking with dad he is funny and usually talks good stuff... he is not like mom anyways
"What are u doing dear" dad asked making his way towards my stay table and dragged the chair near the bed where I was siting
"Nothing dad I was choosing my dress for my bday" I answered him charging my phone
"Hmm... good... well I bought a new phone" he said
"Finally!" I said
"Yea the other one was lagging behind alot.." he said
"I told u like a hundred times bt u never did what made u change it?? A new double trouble??" I said teasing him
"Ah! U got it right! I was texting my boss and mom at the same time and I accidentally swapped the texts between ur mom and my boss... my boss wasn't angry he was just annoyed" dad said smiling
"What was it btw?" I asked curiously
"I told my boss I love u sweet heart and ur mom I will back in 5 mins... "
"Wait so u here to ask me to impress mom abt the last night thingy?" I cut off dad and understood his intentions
"Yah honey! U got it!!! Pls pls help me" dad requested
"Ur so mean dad" I said
"For the last time" dad said
"Ok bt then...."
"No...." dad said
