The Scooby gang stood outside the Summers residence, each of them staring at the slayer. Buffy stood, hidden behind Dawn, her hair covering most of her pale dirt-covered face. They still couldn't believe it.
She was back.
Willow was the first one to come out of her shock she stepped forward very hesitantly. Everyone else seemed to follow her. Then they dropped their weapons, ran up to Buffy and embraced her in a hug. Dawn smiled at them, but her smile faded when she saw Buffy.
She was shaking. Dawn knew it wasn't from crying, no, she seemed terrified, or angry, even, angry towards them. Shaking her head, Dawn placed her arms around Buffy as the Scooby gang pulled away.
"I think we should head inside," she looked at Buffy then back at Willow. "Then you can tell me how this happened, because I feel like some magic was involved". She turned around, holding Buffy's arm, and walked inside. The rest of them walked inside, and not one of them noticed Buffy's anger.

They were seated in the living room. Willow explained to Dawn about the spell they performed, with a huge smile on her face. "Well, it must've worked, cause she's right here!" she said, smiling at Buffy. Buffy forced a small smile at Willow.
"Yeah, I am..." she rubbed her hands on her pants, and looked around the room, trying to avoid eye contact, especially with Willow.
Her voice shook; trying to control the anger she felt building up inside of her. She was a monster, waiting to attack. How could her friends not know that they left her, lying in her own coffin? What a great place to wake up after being in heaven. It screamed, "Welcome to Hell!" at her.
Was this her punishment? Was she being expelled from heaven? If so, then she wanted to go back. She would destroy anyone or anything that tried to stop her. Buffy wanted to return to heaven; she wanted to be at peace. It doesn't matter whether she kills her friends, or her sister now. They're just demons in disguise, taking her in as prisoner, keeping her forever in hell.
She had to escape. And she'll start with the person that brought her back.
"Buffy? Are you in there?" Xander was snapping his fingers in front of her face. Buffy blinked a few times and forced a small laugh.
"Yeah, sorry, I just zoned out," she looked at everyone else, and put on another fake smile. "A lot has happened today, and I just want to rest."
Anya gave Buffy a bright smile, "Yes, you should do that. Even though you were lying in a coffin, sleeping for a very long time."
Xander held out a hand. "Always full of enthusiasm, Anya."
Buffy stood up from the couch, not looking at them, and made her way upstairs. She was going to plan her escape. She knew it would take a while, she knew that to succeed, she would have to adjust to hell. She could do that. A few fake smiles and laughs, no one would know.
But she knew, when the time came, her first target was the demon disguised as one of her best friends.
Willow.

Once the Scoobies heard Buffy close her bedroom door, they waited for a while, and then everyone started talking at once.
"Where was she?"
"How did this happen?"
"The spell didn't work though. Did she just magically appear in the house, then?"
"Why would she be tired, when she was lying in a coffin for so long?"
"Anya..."
"EVERYONE, BE QUIET!" shouted Dawn, who stood at the edge of the room, staring at the group.
She couldn't believe them, how they were being so selfish. It seemed as if the group didn't really care about Buffy herself, they didn't care to lower their voices, they just shouted and shouted, making it louder, when hell must've been loud enough for Buffy. Well, now that she shouted, Dawn decided to lower her voice.
"Back off, okay? Just be quiet and let her rest,” she said calmly.
The group nodded, whispering apologies. They backed away, Xander leaned against the wall, Willow and Tara sat on the couch, and Anya sat on the floor. The four of them, including Dawn, sat in silence, thinking about what had just happened, what will happen.
"We should call Giles!" Anya said, suddenly.
Everyone held their attention to her. Dawn nodded along with Anya.
"Yeah, Giles would want to hear about this, about Buffy being back..." Dawn trailed off.
Anya clapped her hands, and then ran to the kitchen to call Giles. Upstairs, with her ear against the door, listening to the conversation, Buffy smiled to herself. She knew Giles would come back right away, which meant everyone would be there, demons disguised as her friends and watcher, preventing her from returning to heaven, and she could destroy them.
Because if she destroyed them, once she returned to heaven, she won't have to worry about anyone trying to bring her back.
