KEN'S P.O.V

I walked back to my stupid house, completely ignoring my mother and father when I passed them in the kitchen, not bothering to say hi to her or acknowledge their existence.

I walked into my room and shut the door behind me, annoyed. I still couldn't get over the fact that we moved because of my brother. It's not my fault that he was an idiot and did something stupid- why did it have to affect me? Although- he was most likely with a girl now, like he always was.He never got told off for being with girls all the time and I didn't get it. A guy can sleep with how many girls he wants and he's a player, but a girl can sleep with whoever she wants and she's a slut.

I reached out for my phone in my back pocket, and checked if any of my best friends from back in Canada had texted me or even Facebook messaged me. Nothing. They promised that they would have messaged me right away, but I hadn't even received a single 'hello.' It kind of bothered me, also because the fact that I had sent them messages saying I had arrived in this hellhole- yet they read it and never replied. That was another pet peeve of mine- I absolutely hated when people did that.

"Ken, come down!" I heard my mom yell from downstairs. I groaned and walked down the stairs to see my mom, dad, and brother sitting at the kitchen table, eating.

"Oh look it's you, weren't you just fucking the girl next door?" I sneered to my brother, Adam. My mom chocked on her water and my dad glared at me.

"Ken! We do not speak like that in my house!" My mother exclaimed, scolding me. I laughed.

"You aren't denying it Adam. You totally fucked her!" I laughed. Adam glared at me and instantly my parents knew I was right- I always was.

"Just sit down and eat your food Kendall. We need to discuss something." My father said. When they used my real name in sentences, I knew i either did something wrong, or they want me to do something for them. So I would usually get called by that name at dinner time.

"What?" I asked, taking a bite of the slice of pizza my mother had ordered because she's most likely too lazy to cook, like usual.

"You need to get a job Ken-" My mother started but I had just cut her off.

"Already got one." I stated, taking my glass of coke and taking a sip. I wasn't the type of girl who would only drink water. If I was thirsty, I'll drink whatever the hell I want.

"You do? That's surprising. You're such a retard I wouldn't think you'd qualify." Adam sneered. I laughed at his attempt to be insulting.

"At least I get to keep money while you spend yours on prostitutes." I snapped back. I finished my drink and Pizza, brought my plate and cup to the sink and placed them there and raced upstairs.

I still had things to unpack and get my stuff ready for tomorrow. I had my bed placed in the right position (Left corner) , my desk was on the far corner, my closet on the right wall and my guitar on it's stand. My mom said I could choose the colour of my walls, so I'm debating between like a bright red or blue. I wasn't going to be one of those girls with pink or purple walls- It just wasn't me.

I unloaded the box that held most of my clothes and put them in my closet. After what fell ages of unpacking, I went to bed, tired.

-

I was woken up by the smell of bacon and eggs, although I hated eggs but loved bacon. I looked over at my alarm clock which I had unpacked late last night- It was 9 a.m. I had gotten up right away and got myself ready. I had to be at  Mrs. Hood's house by ten thirty and I had no idea how to get there.

I went in a shower and brushed my hair and teeth. I was going to be around water so I decided not to wear anything nice, because I honestly couldn't care who saw me in my jean shorts and black tank top. I was cleaning a pool, not walking the red carpet.

The only makeup I wear on a daily basis is winged eyeliner and mascara. Who the fuck has time to put eye shadow and shit? I liked the way my eyes looked, I don't need pounds of makeup to improve my face, might as well live with what you've got. I placed my hair in two buns, (A/N, CHECK SIDEBAR) and placed on my pair of black high top converse. I raced downstairs to get some breakfest before I had to leave when my mom laughed.

She made a stupid comment about my outfit, I took some pieces of bacon then gum to get the bacon off my breath and searched up the address on google maps. Turns out- we lived pretty close so I decided to walk.

I had finally arrived to Mrs. Hood's house and knocked on the door, who I assumed was Mrs. Hood answered.

"You must be Ken!" She smiled. I smiled back.

"That's me!" I said.

She explained what I  had to do, basically just clean it and clean around it so she left me at it. I was halfway through when two teenage boys scared the living shit out of me.

"Who are you and why are you in my backyard?" Boy number one said. I recognized the voice as the boy who answered the phone yesterday and then called him mom. He was tall, had a couple tatooes, dark brown hair and eyes, and he looked asian. The other boy caught my attention. He was tall, blonde, blue eyed, and had a lip ring and broad shoulders.

"I'm here to clean to your pool, duh."
