Housekeeper And Other Short Stories

the one rule

"I hope you do a good job because if you do, I'll raise your pay." Said the manager to his newly employed worker .
"Don't worry about it sir I've got everything under control."the employee said (let's call him andre).
"Good , now remember what I told you ... close this shop before the clock strikes 10:00. You hear me? No later than 10:00."
"Yes sir" he replied.
Now it was nearing 8:00 and the shop was very lonely . No customers came and it was just andre alone . It was the type of shop that had scary figurines , ancient Halloween stuff, dusty old hats and t-shirts ,Halloween decorations, curtains with cobweb and cloudy skeleton lights that had little purpose to none. As there was nothing to do , andre put his head on the table and mistakenly fell asleep. He slept and slept then when he woke up, it was exactly 30 seconds left until 10:00. He rushed to close the shop as his boss ordered him to and whilst he was grabbing his cloak to leave the shop, there was a creaking sound coming from a door that had a "forbidden" sign hanging infront of it. It was now 10:00 and the exit door shut closed . Andre started to panic then he heard a loud screaming sound which was repeated very often. He slowly and carefully walked towards the door to open it and then he did. He slowly put one foot out the door and as soon as it touched the ground , a sword slashed his head right off and he was dead. Now andre's head was stripped of the flesh, and his skeleton was used for a scarecrow decoration.
