Happy anniversary

"She's drunk !! You can't let her leave like that " Noel laughed as he declared . Gracie was at the point where she was now singing whatever came to her drunk fuzzy mind.

"Oh baby you should eat a rainbow cause you need some colour in your life" Gracie sang from across the room whilst staggering uncontrollably and laughing at everything that came in sight. "Good luck with her " Noel patted James on the back. "Thanks I look like I'll need it" James sighed .

"Come on now Grace you'll be sleeping here tonight I can't let you leave like this." James assured her " you take the bed I'll sleep on the couch ..now good niighhttt" he ended with a yawn at the end .

He lifted her into the bed seeing that she was almost completely in dreamland and they both fell asleep by midnight.

BOOOM

James rose from the couch and looked around to see where the sound came from. He got up ,looked in the kitchen,the bathroom, he checked to see if any Windows had been left open for the neighbourhood cats to enter and he checked to see if it was Gracie causing any problems in her drunken state. He didn't see anything everything was like normal. But when he was returning back to the couch , he saw something that made his blood run cold ...the door was open with a rope hanging in a loop from the he top. "Oh no" he bowed his head "it's today...shit ". He raced upstairs and yelled "Gracie get uuuppp!". "Oh heaven oh lord oh christ oh my goodness no nonono I ain't dying today " he blurted out crossing himself. "Get uuuppp Gracie you ain't dying either ...but someone has to die uugghhh how could I miss this ." It was the death anniversary of his friend Joey ...years ago they were drinking together with a group of friends including Noel but Gracie became there friend last year . They were sleeping and heard a boom sound and they searched but found nothing but when they were going to return to sleep they saw his body hanging from the door pale and lifeless. The second year they hired a housekeeper to take care of the house while they were on a trip and when they returned home her body was hanging by the same door and then they realized it was the same day there friend died . They never stayed in the house on that day because one person has to die.

Gracie was now startled by his yelling and she got up scared. "What's wrong" she groaned rubbing her head. "Gracie I can't explain just get up and leave we need to leave now!!!!"
Being scared, she got up and started to follow in his lead. She turned around to pick up her coat from the rack but when she turned around James  was missing. She called "James ? " . No answer . "James ?" . No answer . She began to run for the door and gasped when she saw him hanging there pale and lifeless. She fainted and was taken to the hospital when Noel arrived the next day hurriedly because he then remembered the event. No one entered the house on that day till now because they knew someone's life would be taken .
