"Come on Harry! We need to get there, before all the good trees are gone!" You told him impatiently.

"Y/n, I'm sure they still have plenty of trees left. Besides, I don't see why you have to have a real one."

"It's a tradition! Ever since I was a kid, we always went ever year to pick out a tree. I love the smell of them, and it just makes this time of year perfect. Just trust me."

"Whatever you say my dear." He said giving you a smile.

Taking your hand, he led you outside in the freezing cold to the car. Opening your door, he made his way to the passenger side and started the engine.

"God, it's freezing! The things I do for you," he said teasingly.

"Oh hush, you know you love me." You told him smirking.

"I really do," he agreed.

The ride to the tree farm didn't take to long. Soon you were parked in the crowded lot. Grabbing Harry's hand, you excitedly started towards the trees.

"You're really excited about this, aren't you?" He asked amused.

"It's my favorite time of year!"

He smiled at you lovingly, as he grabbed the tag for the tree and followed behind you. He waited patiently as you walked through the vast amount of trees. He grew impatient as you shook your head at the majority of them. It had to be perfect. He pointed out to each tree as you passed by it, but none caught your eye.

"It's to short."

"No, that one has a big gap in it."

"That one's perfect, but we would never be able to fit it in the house."

"No, no that one is to skinny."

"Oh, come on love. They all look good to me."

You frowned at him. "Harry, this is our first Christmas together. I just want things to be perfect."

His gaze softened, as he wrapped you in his arms. "No matter what tree you decide on love, it will be perfect as long as we're together."

He leaned down and kissed your lips softly. As your lips met, you felt something cold touching your cheek. Looking up, you began to giggle.

"It's snowing!" You said joyfully. Spinning around, you enjoyed the first fall of snow. Harry watched you carefully, enjoying your carefree laughter.

The two of you walked hand in hand, throughout the rest of the trees. You finally decided on the perfect tree. It was the perfect height for the house the two of you shared, and it was filled out beautifully.

"It's perfect!" You cheered gleefully.

"Finally!" Harry groaned, marking the tree with your tag.

"I don't know why your complaining, you know you've had fun today."

"I always have fun, when I'm with you pedal." He smiled, kissing you once more.

Later that night, the two of you spent countless hours, decorating your first Christmas tree as a couple. You placed each ornament carefully. Once finished, you stepped back and took a proud look at your accomplishment.

"It's absolutely marvelous!" Harry declared.

"That it is," You smiled brightly. "Now time for cookies!"

"Yess, my favorite part of the season!" Harry cheered. "I've been dying for your special Christmas cookies!"

Giving him a kiss on his nose, you headed towards the kitchen. "Coming right up, my dear!"

You worked tirelessly in the kitchen. Your famous Christmas cookies were always a hit, and Harry had yet to try them! He had heard so much about them from your family so he couldn't wait.

You had your very own secret recipe and took pride in watching people enjoy them. A few hours later, you had several dozen cooked and decorated. You were just finishing up the final touches on the last batch, as Harry came wondering into the kitchen. Trying to be sneaky, he snatched up one and tossed it in his mouth.

"Hey now! You better save some of those for the party tomorrow!" You warned.

"I can't help it! They're just so darn delicious! If you didn't want me to eat them all, then you shouldn't be such an amazing cook." He teased.

You shook your head, smiling at him lovingly. "Just promise you'll save some for our guests."

"I'll do my best, love. Here I want you to have this now." He told you handing you a small box, neatly wrapped.

"It's not Christmas yet!" You objected.

"I know, but I want you to have it now. I can't wait until Christmas to give it to you. You know how bad I am with surprises."

Smiling at him, you thought about it carefully. Knowing you wouldn't win this battle, you took the small box from his waiting hands. He wrapped his arms around you, as he watched you gently open the box. Opening it slowly, you lifted the lid to the box. Inside was the most gorgeous white gold charm bracelet. It was lovely.

"Harry, it's beautiful!"

You took a look at each charm. He had carefully picked out each and every one of them. He had a charm for each of the memories the two of you shared. From the small cafe the two of you met in a year ago, to the Eiffel tower where you shared your first kissed. His thoughtfulness brought tears to your eyes. You didn't know what you did to deserve a man as wonderful and loving as Harry.

"Harry, thank you! I love it! It the absolute best gift I have ever received." You told him sincerely.

"I'm glad you like it, love." He told you kissing your lips softly, and wiping the tears from your cheeks. "This last year has been the best in my life. I don't know what I would do without you! I love you y/n!"

"I love you to Harry! More than you will ever know!" He carefully took the bracelet from the box, and clasped it around your wrist.

"There, now it's perfect."

Smiling at the love of your life, you agreed with him. Grabbing a plate, you picked out a few cookies and followed Harry out into the living room. He made the two of you a warm fire, and laid out blankets and pillows in front out it. Laying your head on his chest, you drifted off peacefully in the soft glow of the Christmas tree lights.
