<Asuna's PoV>
Hi, my name is Asuna! And I attend Tokyo's best combat training school. It is where the top fighters across the country or world come to enhance their combat skills in order to join the defence force or just help protect the world against evil. I'm the 2nd strongest in the school whereas my friend is number 1. Well I wouldn't say friend actually... he's always angry and hardly speaks to anyone but he hangs out with me a lot mostly. But we hardly talk as well. His name is Eiji... he's had a rough childhood after his mum died at a young age and he was left with his father who is a hard headed business man and very strict.
Well apart from him I have other friends; Liz, Silica, Sinon, Sugu, Klein, Eugeo and Alice. We were all pretty close to each other. And we all did stuff together in school and outside of school. I was heading to school and I saw all of my friends standing by the gate. Oh yeah and Heathcliff was the principal of the academy. He was the strongest across the country, no one could match his abilities and no one has ever come close. But every student in the academy is striving for that level.
I ran to my friends and I noticed the gate was shut which was odd, they are normally left open. I then rushed to their side and looked inside and saw some kind of entity and a man who looked scruffy and homeless. He wore a bandana across his mouth leaving only his eyes exposed. And below them was a student who looked frightened.
"What's going on?" I ask Alice who is stood by me.
"Villains locked us out and they've been harming anyone inside... they want someone and I think it is Heathcliff. They want to kill him" Alice said and I went wide eyed. Someone wants to kill Heathcliff? What? No one has ever tried to do this before... that means these people have found a way to do it. But Heathcliff was nowhere to be seen. "what's going on here? Oh no villains!" Speak of the devil here comes Heathcliff. He then jumps over the gate and draws a sword and shield and charges at the villains but the entity pulls out a warp gate and sends Heathcliff into the air and he crashes into the ground.
I couldn't bare to see this! Heathcliff was a nice person and for him to get hurt no! I cannot let this happen. I was about to jump but Eiji held me back and stared at me coldly. "No it is dangerous! I'll go" He said but before he could jump and figure dressed in all black jumped over. I saw his eyes flash blue and I could see the fire in his eyes. I've never seen him before though... he jumped straight over and charged at the villains as well.
"Idiot! What does he think he's doing? Even Heathcliff can't beat them! What makes him think he can?" Eiji said filled with rage. But the boy kept on running and didn't stop. Once again the warp gate came out but the boy jumped it and swung with his sword but the scruffy boy caught it. We thought this was over but another blade was drawn by the boy and cut off the villains hand and there was a scream of terror. All us students watched in shock at the sheer power and a skill we had never seen before or ever heard off.
The villains then disappeared and I just stared at the boy who was holding his wrist tightly. I saw his body tremble and before we knew it, he collapsed as well.
