Luarens

"W-what are you doing here?"

He sits next to me and orders a drink. "Just came to get a drink," he shrugs. "Hey, aren't you still dating that Hamilton guy?"

"N-no actually. He left  me..."

"I'm sorry. How have you been?"

I look away. "Fine. And you?"

"Fine. You know what? I've missed you a lot," he says seductively and trails his hand up my thigh. I quickly move his hand away. "I can see you didn't miss me, huh?"

This bitch. "Why would I miss someone who fucking kidnapped me?"

He sighs and looks down. "You're right. But I've changed. Believe me. Please." He looks up at me with sad puppy eyes. Fuck...

I sigh. "If you can prove to me that you've changed, maybe we can be friends again."

"Wait really?" I nod. I'm gonna regret this so much. "Thank you!" he squeals and kisses me. He pulls away when he realizes what he's done. "Fuck. I'm sorry." I look away with my face bright red. Maybe he did change.

~

I feel my phone vibrate  in my pocket. It's probably just Alexander texting me.

Francis holds my hand. "Are you okay?"

"What? I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Francis. I'm positive."

"Okay, I'm sorry."

"It's fine."

He looks away and caresses my hand. "You're not doing anything tomorrow are you?"

"No. Why?"

"I-I was wondering if you wanted to.. go on a date with me?"

Dammit. I can't say no to this. "I.. yes I'll go."

"Oh thank you!"

I smile. He's so adorable. Wait, what? I didn't just think that did I? "Why did you get so excited?"

"You're perfect and anyone would be excited to be with you."

I smile and kiss his cheek. "I have to go home."

"Let me walk with you to your car." He holds my hand and we walk outside to my car. "I'll see you tomorrow night, right?"

I smile. "Of course." We lock eyes for a split second and suddenly our lips meet. He puts his hands on my hips and pulls me closer. I pull away, breathless and he frowns. "I'll see you tomorrow night." We kiss one last time and I get in my car.

~

I close the door behind me and put my keys on the table. My phone rings and I answer it. "Where are you?"

"My house. Why does it matter?"

"Just wondering." He pauses for a little bit. "I broke up with Eliza."

I facepalm myself. "What the actually fuck, Alexander? How could you do that to her?"

"I-I don't know. I thought it would be best for her."

"Yes Alex, because breaking up with the girl who is having your baby is the smartest idea."

He sighs. "I'm sorry but it's done alright."

"Whatever. Try to apologize to her."

"I tried and she wouldn't answer."

"Hmm. I wonder why."

"C-can we change the subject?"

"Fine with me."

"What'd you do after you left?"

I roll my eyes. "Why you wanna know?"

"Damn. I'm sorry for asking a friggin' question."

"Well, if you really wanna know, I met up with someone and I have a date tomorrow night."

"Y-you have a d-date?" I can hear the pain in his voice. "With who?"

"You'll get pissed off if I tell you."

He sighs. "I don't care."

I turn down the call volume and prepare for him to scream at me. "Francis Kinloch."

"WHAT?! DO YOU NOT REMEMBER WHAT HE DID TO YOU?!"

"Of course I do. But he's changed."

"You can't talk to someone for five minutes and say they've changed."

"We talked for two hours actually, mom."

"Still... I just don't want you to get hurt again- mentally and physically."

I sigh and run a hand my hand through my hair. "It doesn't matter Alex."

"Please don't let him hurt you."

"It doesn't matter to you if he does though."

"What happened to you? You used to be so sweet and innocent, now you're being so mean and you're acting like a hoe."

I fake laugh. "You're fine one to be talking Alexander."

"N-no I didn't mean it like that."

"Then how did you mean it?" He goes quiet for a little bit. "That's what I thought. Goodnight, bitch."

"John plea-"

"Fuck off." I hang up on him and throw my phone on the table. Oh wait, I need that. I pick it up and call Francis.
