How We Met

As Savannah enter the school hall, she saw her two friends, Mei and Andrea. "Hey Sav, over here!" Andrea waves, She then walked over. "So, what's up?" Savannah asked" Eh, nothing much." Mei shrugs, leaning on a random locker. "It's the same ol' days." Savannah nodded as she looked at her watch. "Have you guys seen Zoe and Megan? They're late."

"They are probably making out again in their dorm." Mei sighs and Andrea laughs. "Of course, they are a lovely dovey couple after all." Savannah chuckled.

"Well guys, have you heard-" Andrea gets cut off by loud squealing coming from a huge crowd of girls. ""Nevermind." Savannah's suspension grew. "No, tell me what was that all about."

Andrea looked at Mei. Mei just shook her head. "Jesus just tell me. Not like I'll make a nig deal of it." Savannah pleaded. Mei just shrugged amd opened her mouth.

"So like, there is a new student in homeroom 108, I think it's a dude, but I can care less." Mei puts on her earbuds, listening to music. Savannah grab her schedule from her backpack and check her homeroom.

homeroom : room 108 (math)

Well shit.

Savannah sighed. "I got room 108."

"That's a lot of damage." Andrea mumbled.

Savannah decided to tell them her other classes. "That sucks. I wish we had the same homeroom." Andrea huffed. "Ew, I wouldn't be with a 5 year old like you." Mei teases. andrea scoffed. "Yeah, I wouldn't be with a 78 year old like you."

"Excuse me?"

"Have a problem with that, oldie?"

"Respect your elders, dumbass." Mei slapped the back of Andrea's head.

"Really?" Andrea rubbed that back of her head.

Savannah chuckled. "Guys, we have to get to class now." We
all separated and headed to our class.

When Savannah arrived at my class, she heard people talking about the new student. She  wonder what the new student looks like.

A few moments later, our homeroom teacher, Mr. Lee, comes in. "Okay everyone, take a seat." everyone takes a seat and listens. "So, we have a new student today. Please come in!" A guy with dark black hair, glasses, wearing a yellow hoodie and checkered vans.

"H-Hello, my name is Alex Barnes." Savannah turned around and heard the girls in the back fangirling some sort. Savannah just shrugged.

"Okay, please sit behind Savannah."

bitch what?

Savannah hesitantly raise her hand to let him know where she is. After that, they start math.

Savannah was just taking notes when someone tapped her shoulder. "Excuse me?" Savannah heard a voice and turned around. "May I use your notes for this lesson?" The guy who she believed is "Alex" asked. Savannah eyes landed on his eyes. It looks like she could fall in those eyes. She then snapped out of it and handed him her notes.

After class, she grabed her backpack and head to her next class, science. As Savannah was walking, she saw 2 girls glaring at her fiercely. What's their problem.

Once Savannah arrived at science, she scanned the whole classroom. Her eyes layed on Alex who is sitting by himself, reading a book.

The Students sat down on their chairs and waited for their teacher. 6 seconds later their science teacher, Mrs. Mariam came in. "Okay guys! I know we have a new student and all, but we have to do our science project! Alex, you okay with that?" Alex nodded at the teacher. "Also I'll be assigning partners." Everyone in the class groaned.

Mrs. Mariam assigned everyone a partner. "...lastly, Savannah and Alex." Savannah didn't care. She just wants to get over it. Sadly, she received death glares from some of the girls behind her.

Her and Alex decided what subject they should focus on for their project. "Hm..should we work on human cells?" Alex looked at Savannah. She hesitated a bit. "I guess, we could do it.

The bell rang. It's lunch break. Savannah got up and packed her stuff. Alex sighed, "Cells it is. Oh by the way, can we try work on it tomorrow?" Savannah turned around and nodded.

As Savannah entered the cafeteria, She saw Zoe and Megan waving. Savannah then head over to their direction and take a seat between Mei and Zoe. "Oi, who told you to sit here?" Mei raises an eye brow. "Shut up, 78 year old." Savannah begins eating her salad. Mei scoffs in disbelief while is Andrea giggling while eating her sandwich. "Oh, Zoe and Megan, where were you guys this morning?" Savannah ask with a concerned face.

"It's  none of your business." Zoe replies, eating her burrito. Andrea's lips form a grin.

"Don't tell me-"

"ZOE FUCKED MEGAN!" Mei yelled. the whole cafeteria looked at them, including Alex. Savannah covered Mei's mouth, then there is raging Zoe with Megan trying to calm her down.

After a lot of teasing, everyone looks at Savannah suspiciously. "Hey Sav, why you looking so down?" Megan asks. Savannah sighed and explain that she is partnered with the new kid for a science project. "Ooh that's the tea." Andrea sips her apple juice.

"Was he hot?"

"Was he nice?"

"Tall? cute?"

"What's his name?"

She was speechless how they were so interested. "Woah, woah, calm down guys. okay, yes he is hot and cute, he is tall, he's nice too, and his name.."

"Is?" zoe asks.

"His name is Alex. Alex Barnes."
