(Michael's POV)

Friday, July 20th, 1993

I slowly breathed in and out. It's only been six years since Henry...I don't think I'm ready for this...W-What if they don't remember me?! What if they won't let me stay?! What if...No. Don't think like that. Just, talk to them. I thought and got out of my car. I walked up to the old, decaying house's front door and knocked. The door opened and the silhouette of a teenage girl was behind it. It didn't take me too long to realize who out was. It was... "Charlie! It's so good to see you!" I said and hugged Charlie tightly.

"Same, Michael! Huh? Your breath smells like cigarettes! Have you been smoking, Michael?!" Charlie asked.

"Only two a week. Tuesdays and Thursdays, only. Now, I, um, have so everything to ask you... Charlie would you... let me stay at your house for awhile? I'll move out as soon as I have enough money," I ask and frown.

"Fine, you can stay. Me and Aunt Jen will figure out where you'll sleep since there's only two bed rooms. Come inside, Michael!" Charlie said and I picked up my duffel bag and walked inside.

I immediately sat down on the couch and pulled out my phone. "Gotta be someone who I can call in the paper..." I said and opened the paper to see an ad about a new pizzeria that needs a nighty guard and I thought it would be an easy enough job. The pizzeria was called 'Circus Baby's Pizza World' and I called their number. "Hello, this is the manager, Jeremy Fitzgerald. How may I help you?" a kind voice asked.

"I'd like to apply for that night guard job," I replied.

"Okay, just full out your resume and send it to us via the mail. Then we'll see if you're qualified. Alright, mr..." Jeremy said, implying that I needed to tell him my name.

"Schmidt. Mike Schmidt," I replied and got a response in the form of a pen being scribbled on a piece of paper.

"Okay, Mike, if you get accepted, we'll send you a key to get into the building along with a key to get your uniform. If you aren't chosen, you'll be informed in two days. Have a good day," Mr.Fitzgerald said and hung up.
