My head is rushing with thoughts. I cannot grasp the situation. Where would i sit now? I scan the cafeteria for a place to sit and merely all the seats are taken. I don't know where it came from and why, but i suddenly got a sudden burst of bravery and i walked up to the table. I almost immediately regret my choices. Shit. I clutch my brown paper bag along my side and stand at the end of the table. Both boys look up at me with a confused expression. I suddenly feel quite nauseous.
"Erm...may i, uh we help you?" Said the dark haired boy. He was very pretty for a boy chiseled jawline and olive toned skin. Quite the catch.
"I uhm...usually sit here." I said barely a whisper.
"Well uh...we're sorry. You can sit with us if you'd like?" The other boy finally spoke. He has his hair dyed. It's a fading lilac color. He also had a nice jawline but with fair skin. His eyes were beautiful. A greenish gray color i think.
"Uh sure." I say quietly setting my bag down next to the dark haired boy. I sit down on a chair and open my bag. I pick at my food and wait for someone to start any conversation at all to make things less awkward.
"I'm Calum and this is Michael." The dark haired boy says and gestures to the other boy.
"Hi Calum, hi Michael." I say and continue to pick at my food. Being the antisocial loser i am, i tend to make conversation awkward for everyone involved.
"And you are?" Michael says impatiently. God i hate when people pry even he's just asking my name.
"I'm uh Jade. Jade Stevens." I say without looking up even though i want to look into his pretty eyes because i love the color.
"Hi uh Jade. Jade Stevens." He mocks with a grin and i blush. I'm such a dork.
"That name seems familiar." Calum questions me looking me in the eyes.
"No no I've uh never met you guys until today." I say shakily
"I think we had geography together in eighth grade." Calum says getting excited as he speaks.
"Maybe." I say darting my eyes away from Calum's stare. I remind myself this is why i don't usually talk to people. The rest of the lunch goes well. We make small talk and i'm pretty sure we make friends with each other.
"Well can we do this again tomorrow?" Calum says. I nod and smile for what seems like the first time in forever. It feels kinda good.
"Yeah. See you tomorrow." I say still grinning widely. This is probably one of the best things to ever happen to me.
"See you tomorrow, Jade." Calum And Michael both say in unison. They stand up and walk together down the hall to their next class. I didn't realize how tall they both were since i had only seen them sitting down. It made me nervous considering that i came from two short parents and that i was only five feet tall. I picked up my backpack and threw away my trash and continued to class.
Classes were boring as hell. I couldn't stop thinking of my new found friends. I wanted to tell someone but i have no other friends and my whole family hates me.
When classes end i walk to the front of the school to get on the bus. No one else except for two other people take the bus. I'm one of the few people who don't own a car at my age. The ride is only about 10 minutes long due to the lack of kids whom take the bus. I step off at my stop and i have a short way to walk from where the bus drops me off to my home. I stop at the pond half way there and sit on a rock. I always sit here if i need to get away from my thoughts. Minutes later a car pulls up in the small lot near the pond. I don't turn around to actually see the car but i can hear it. I hear the car door open and close. Someone steps out and walks up beside me.
Okay guys thats chapter 2 i hope you enjoyed it i tried to make it a bit longer and a little mysterious... Comment what you think and maybe vote for my story? Haha thank you guys i love you :-)
