Getting to know Harpy

After working with New for three days, I got to learn so much about him. He don't talk much and likes to argue when I told him something that he thinks nonesense until I provide him with proof and fact. Judging from his way and behavior, clearly he is a beta Harpy. Speaking about it, what is a harpy? I know n'Gun is an hybrid of Harpy and Werewolf... Which explain why he is cute and devilish at some point. I better ask n'Gun for better info. I get up from my bed, out from my room and off to Off's dorm. I just barge in like it was my room.

"Hey hey~ don't you know how to knock?" Off complained. Then I knock the door for three times.

"There... Happy?"

"Cool, really cool... knocking the door while you are inside, its like taking a shit while eating in the toilet..."

"Really? ugh~ where is n'Gun?"

"Kitchen."

"Oh p'Tay? what are you doing here, it's almost 10..."

"n'Gun, I know..."

"Well okay... you wanna have a dinner with us?"

"Pass, done eating just now... listen I want to ask you something..."

"What is it?"

"About Harpy..."

"Oooh, why so sudden...?"

"Well, nothing... I just wanna know..."

"Sure you can... but you have to join us dinner?"

"For sake of love, n'Gun Tay already decline it..."

"It's fine n'Gun, you guys can eat I'll just join you guys at the table..."

"Sure..."

"So, p'Tay... what do you want to know about us?"

"I don't know, abilities first I suppose?"

"We don't have a lot of it, and the senses of Harpy is average... but mine is different since I'm an hybrid between werewolf, I have better senses than normal harpy. But we do have talent in Art & Music, our eyes are design to look at things in much more colourful images...Our ears thought can't hear things much like you guys do, we do have special hearing that enable us to determine the chords that's been played and we will never forget it... Kinda like a photographic memory but only for music and art... thus, making us excel in it..." after hearing n'Gun explanation it doesn't really suit well with New.

"Okay... urm, do some of harpy able to read minds?"

"Read minds? Wow, aren't that... I mean how should I said this. There are no races that can read minds p'Tay... so for lesser races like Harpy, it's impossible."

"Okay... that's odd..."

"Why are you asking me about Harpy p'Tay?"

"Yeah, I also wanna know... you rarely put your interest into someone else..." Off said...

"Well, my partner... that Prof has picked for me... said he was an Harpy..."

"Wait, our class doesn't have any harpy in it..."

"No its not from our class Off... it's from another department..."

"WHAAAAATTT? how come I just know this?"

"Because I just told you?"

"Wait p'Tay, this harpy that you are talking about... is he cute?"

"Ermm, K-kinda? I suppose? I don't know..."

"Beautiful?"

"W-what, I d-don't know, why do you even need to ask?"

"cause if it did, then he's a harpy then, just look at me~ ain't I cute and lovely?"

"Come on n'Gun~ don't play with me I need real info... not one of your antics."

"Hhihi, sorry p'Tay, you might look fierce and if it wasn't for your alpha aura... you might get teased a lot by all your friends already..."

"By the way Tay, is this your new partner photos?" Off showed me some photos of New and me together...

"Where did you get this?"

"It was shared on some blog, I guess from your fanclub... judging from the comments section some, no... I mean alot of them are not really fond of your new friend... Look at this comment, it says that he was flirting with you by acting docile and helpless..." Off said while showing me the comment, it was a picture of New slightly pouting because I was making a dumb joke when we were at the library today.

"heh~ docile? he is far more than a docile... this guy is sarcastic asf, he always have something to argue with me... Just this day, I was helping him searching for his resources online, and when I found it he didn't believe me and said I was making it up... Can you believe it? he ask for help but when I do find it, he didn't believe me and demanding a strong proof and fact for my findings... man and sometimes, I felt like I was getting insane each minute I spend my time with him, you know, it's like I begin to question reality... cause sometimes, I am 100% sure I was not talking but just thinking about things, he told me to be quiet cause I was too noisy at the library... I mean come on, I was so sure I was thinking not talking and and -" 

"WOOOW, p'Tay... how excited can you be?"

"Yeah buddy, this is my first time seeing you blabbering about someone other than you..."

"I-I did?" I began to feel warm temperature accumulating on both of my cheeks...

"Are you blushing right now?" Off was making a face when asking me that.

"NO! I'm leaving now, enjoy your dinner..." I said as I left them and went back to my room.

I can't believe I let my mouth run off spewing nonesense, now they'll tease me for months about it... nevertheless, hearing n'Gun about harpy... I know yearn for more information of other races in the world... I remembered when I still take history class about a dark period of our world... but I can't remember more... I'll find about it next time. I close my eyes, and my tiredness swept me into my dreamland...
