How you two met: Dark Link

You are setting off to find your best friend, Malon. Apparently, she went missing for the past 2 days. Mr. Talon said she was delivering milk to Castle Town which is kinda strange because Castle Town was just a few kilometers away from the ranch, it would only take 10 minutes to walk. Right now, you are just screaming at the top of your lungs saying, "Malon !!! Malon !!! Where are you? !!" but no responds. There's just something that was bothering you, you would always feel that someone is watching you, but everytime you turn your head and scan the surroundings, nothing. Just trees, grass and a few Stalfos, which is not a big deal cause Stalfos are pretty damn weak. One hit with a sword and they break like skulls cracking beneath your feet.

As hours go by, your horse was starting to give in, so were you. "I know girl, I'm starting to feel tired ... but hang in there okay?" You pet your horse and your horse neigh-ed in agreement.

Like as if the goddesses did it on purpose, it started to rain really hard. "We have to find shelter and fast!" Out in the open, you spotted a cave, "There! C'mon!" Your horse then bolted to the cave as fast as lightning. You got off and removed the saddle from your horse. "I never knew you could run like that! You know, I should give you a name." Your horse looks up at you and waves her tail in excitement. You giggled, "What about ... Laura?" She shooks her head. "No? Okay ... Pippee?" Her tail waves in the air and neigh-ed again. "Then Pippee it is!" You smile sweetly and pet her. "Tch ..." Pippee "What a stupid name for a horse." A voice said. You immediately pull out your sword and turn around. "Who said that? Who's there?! Show yourself!" You said with an irritated voice. He then emerges from the shadows, revealing himself to you. Being cautious, you took a step back. "What do you want?" You said, still pointing the sword at his direction. "Easy now, I'm not going to hurt you." He said, putting his hands in the air. "How can I be so sure of that? And what are you doing here anyway?" "First of all, I was taking a walk in the forest. Second of all, I have nothing to do with you so why would I even bother hurting you?" You then put your your sword back. "If you try anything stupid, I WILL smite you with my sword if I have to." "Okay." He says casually.

A few hours later, you two were stuck in the cave in a really awkward silence. You decided to break the tension between the two you, "So... I have a question." He looks at you with a bored expression, "Hm?" "Why do you look a lot like my best friend Link?" He stayed silent for a little while and answers your question, "Don't freak out okay?" You nod, "I'm actually his dark counterpart." Fascinated, you asked him another question, "How?" "I was made out of the darkness in Link's heart." "Whoa... that's cool." He looks at you in disbelief. "Seriously? Ya'think that's cool?" "Yeah!" "Huh..." He looks down. "Also, I'm sorry I was mean to you a while ago. I was just shocked." "Don't sweat it. What's your name? I forgot to tell you." "(Y/N)." "You probably know who I am." "Mhm. Dark Link." You yawned because you were so tired, "Just sleep, I'll keep watch tonight. I promise I won't do anything to you." "Okay... just wake me up if you're tired and I'll take your place..." He nods, and you finally fell asleep.

~Timeskip~

The rays of the sun illuminating from the outside world, birds chirping, and the sound of Pippee woke you up. Then you just remembered what happened last night. You look to your right and saw your new-found friend sleeping like a baby. You found yourself staring at him, mesmerized by his beautiful face, that you didn't even notice him waking up. "We're not gonna find your friend if you keep staring at me." He smirks. His voice startled you, snapping you out of your thoughts. Your face immediately turns red. "Uh... I was just... um..." You mentally slapped yourself for stuttering. He chuckles and pats you on the head, "Yeah, I know I'm hot." smiling like the goof he is. "W-what?! I didn't say that! And how do you know I was looking for my friend?!" He chuckles deeply this time, "I have my ways little one." "'Little one'?! I'm not little!" You cross your arms and pout. He pinches your cheeks and laughs, "You are just the sweetest thing ever..." Your face is now as red as a tomato. "Now c'mon, let's go find your friend."
