Finally the audition was finished! They thanked me for coming and as I left Lani ran up to me and congratulated me on how well I had done. I couldn't believe Lani baker had thought I was good at modelling! We talked for a bit and she gave me a hug. Then along came the hot boy I recognised, I started to get even more nervous. "Oh hey Maverick!" Lani laughed. Then it hit me. Maverick! Maverick Baker! Lani's younger brother. The tiktok star! I wasn't shocked they were related I mean they have a pretty good looking family. "Hey Sis" Mavericks eyes directed to me, "hey ...?"
"Lottie Cook." I hastily replied.
"Nice to meet you Lottie Cook", "You were good up there"
"Uhh, not really but thanks".
"You were, I reckon you were the best yet!" Maverick smiled and winked.
"Yeah! You were amazing" Lani interrupted, glaring at Maverick.
"Well, I better be going but, I guess I'll be seeing you round Lottie" Maverick grinned.
"Yeah, hopefully"
"Bye Maverick" Lani said with sarcastic smile, hinting him to leave.
"Sorry about my brother, he seems to have taken a shining to you. But I mean your gorgeous, I don't blame him. And I hope they choose you, you'll be great."
"Thank you so much, he seems really sweet and it has been a dream come true coming here today and meeting you especially".
"Aww that's so sweet, well if you ever need anything, here's my number and we can alway meet up for anything".
"Thank you so much". And with that Lani gave me a hug and I left.
Lili drove me home and we had a sleepover. We stayed up all night together talking and partying, until morning when she had to leave. We promised to text each other all day every day. From this moment on we wouldn't stop talking to each other.
