"Mark! Let's have breakfast, honey." His mom called from their dining room. Mark ran down the staircase in his Bayfield Academy uniform. Mark is quite excited for school today since they have music class.

"I see that our Mark is excited for school today, can you tell me why?" His mother asked, bending down to his level. Mark's smile grew and he giggled from the tickling sensation from his and his mother's noses.

"We have music class today, mom!" Mark said enthusiastically.

"Oh, you're going to play the guitar again?" His mother asked, but she knew that her son will go for the guitar again.

"Yes, mom!" He's really liking the guitar. At a young age, Mark had shown interest in music. He loved playing the guitar and even wishes for a guitar for his upcoming birthday.

"Would you like if mom got you a guitar of your own?" his mother asked, even if she knew that he really wanted one, to which Mark nodded enthusiastically.

"Okay, let's get one later." his mom said with a smile.

"Really? Thanks mom!" Mark hugged his mother dearly out of utter joy.

"Where's dad?" the little boy asked his mother. The enthusiasm faded on Mark's face.

"Oh, he went to work already, huh?" Mark was so disappointed, it showed in his face and voice. His mother, instead just asked them to enjoy their breakfast.

During his drive on the way to school, Mark sat near the window at the backseat, resting his chin at the palm of his hands.

"Why is the young master sad?" Mr. Parks asked. He had been Mark's driver ever since pre school. He was in his 30s but he still managed to look amazing that he seemed like he's in his 20s.

"Why is dad so busy? Can't he have time for his only son?" The boy asked his driver. He's 9 years old and it's the boy phase of his life, he really needed his father.

Mark noticed the disappointed expression on Mr. Parks' face but he can't read why.

Mark was dropped off at the entrance of his school. He waved Mr. Parks goodbye with a cute smile that made him scrunch his nose.

The 4th grade student was kind of famous at his level. He was part of the top 1% of his grade and was class president. Although he reached this level of fame among his batchmates, he only made 2 close friends. It is not that he wasn't friendly, but he was just introverted for the most part.

During recess, Mark, along with his friends, decided to get some banana milk from the cafeteria.

Walking out of the cafeteria, the 3 boys heard a loud sound from upstairs. Dust fell from the ceiling and all of the people in the cafeteria were worried.

The boys immediately ran out to check from the outside. Debris fell from the other side of the building. A fire was engulfing that side.

They ran to their room to get their stuff. When they got to their room, other students were about to head out already. Since it is break time and they have no teacher, Mark had to step up.

"Okay, the girls head out first. Go to the open field and fall in line." Mark told his classmates as he tries to fix his bag.

The girls head out followed by the boys. Mark was the last one to head out so that he could check if everyone was able to do so.

Mark found them in the soccer field, immediately counting them. He made a deep sigh, as he counted all of them. His classmates are complete.

"HELP ME!" someone shouted from the building.

No firefighter was in sight but with Mark's kind heart there seemed to be one as he charged to the building from that one cry for help.

Mark went to the second floor, smoke was occupying all of the rooms. He brought out his mask fron his pocket and continued to look for the source of the shouting.

He found the shout at the end of the second floor. A 1st grade boy.

"I will get you out of here, alright?" Mark assured the boy.

Wood was falling from the ceiling and the boy was trapped. Mark found a fire extinguisher and used it to get to the boy.

"Where is your bag?" He asked and the boy turned around to show it. Mark grabbed the bottle of water and poured it onto his towel.

"Cover your mouth with this, okay? Let's go." Mark grabbed his hand and stormed out of the building.

As they got off the building, Mark took the boy to his teacher and asked what his name was.

"Park Jisung." the boy answered timidly.

"Well, Jisung, you're safe now. You can go to your classmates." Mark patted the boy's head.

"But... Can I stick with you, for now, hyung?" Jisung asked Mark with sparkling shy eyes.

"Okay."  The hyung agreed, giving him a comforting smile and putting his arms around the boy as he talked to him to get his thoughts off of the incident.

Mark didn't know that when he saved a boy he would have a little brother.
