"He's your dad? You've got to be kidding me, is this what new friends do, pull each other's leg? Well if that's the case then I'm your father's daughter ha ha ha." No you don't understand. "Well I need proof" Amira states and sky pulls out her phone and shows her photos of her and her parents.

"Oh my god! So what you're saying is that we have same dads?" Sky nodded her head in agreement while full on sobbing now.

"I have a sister? Yay totes fab my current brother sucks I needed an upgrade anyway.

Wait so this means that my dad was cheating with your mom and they got pregnant in the same month right?

Mom is going to freak out when she hears about this." Amira states while pulling out her phone alongside with a hysterical sky next to her.

The phone rings and Amira's mother Elizabeth answers the phone. "Mimi is everything ok?" her mom asks her. "Mom where are you?" I'm around the corner I'll be there in five minutes." "Ok bye" and with that Amira hangs up the phone and walks out the room leaving a sobbing mess sky in her room.

Amira walks down the stairs and enters into the kitchen grabs a donut and heads towards the living area and takes a sit. A short while after she hears a car pull up and the garage door open.

Soon after the front door opens and the sound of keys falling on the kitchen counter was heard followed by the opening of the fridge.

Amira then felt the presence of her mother coming near her.

Right now in this instance Amira was suddenly scared of what would happen and her mind raced with all kinds of thoughts of how this all would play out in the end but nothing didn't seem to make any sense to her anymore.

"Hunny?" her mother's voice took Amira out of her thoughts and back to reality "Hey mom" "Hey hunny you look like you have a lot on your mind what's wrong?" "Oh its nothing mum it's just that you remember when I called you earlier about a girl needing help well she's kind of here." "She's here? Like here now? Omg you have friends aww babita is all grown passed not wanting friends" "Yh well that's the thing were not friends were kind of sisters" "Sisters? You're her best friend already? I need to meet her." Amira's mom says downing the last of her bottled water and standing up to head upstairs. "Mom you don't understand" "How do I not understand I mean it is a little early to be best friends but it doesn't matter once you're happy I'm fine hunny, now come introduce me." "Mom please sit" Amira begs Elizabeth Elizabeth sits and keeps quiet because she could see that her daughters face was in distress.

Ok so mom this girl name is sky white, but she claims that we have same dads, she saw a family photo of us and just started to literally tear up, when I asked her what's wrong she told me that, that was her father, I was shocked and didn't know how to react so I thought that she was kidding because she was white and dads black but it turns out that she wasn't kidding because she had proof, she had pictures on her phone of dad and a white skinned lady which looked a lot like her and a brown puppy in the background.

They looked like this kind of happy little family or something. By this time Elizabeth was fuming with rage she got up and stomped to the kitchen, she then started braking plates and screaming in Spanish how could Roger do this to me.

Meanwhile Amira was panicking she has never seen her mother this angry before and she felt that it was all her fault.

Andrew came downstairs a short while after and was amused by his mothers work of art and was about to help her but Amira pulled him back and asked him "are you crazy? She will kill you." "Nope she won't" he replies but nonetheless stays away from the kitchen.

The sound of an engine roar was heard and Roger had arrived home from work. Amira and Albert looked at each other then back at their mother.

When she threw down the cabinet with the vases, Roger heard and thought that a robbery was taking place so on instinct he rushed inside only to be missed by a flying plate to the head which broke on the wall next to him.

Roger are you cheating on me? Elizabeth asks with the calmest voice ever. No my love why would you think that? He asks. Elizabeth picks up a knife from the kitchen island and raises it in the air and asks once more "Roger are you cheating on me?" her voice seething with venom.

Before he could answer he spotted sky on the stairs staring at him with red blotched eyes and a look of defeat on her face. Albert is amused at his father's reaction and says "ooh his busted." On the other hand Amira hits him on the head for being so nonchalant about the whole situation unravelling in front of them.

Elizabeth was now nonchalant to the whole situation puts down the knife and walks up to sky and inspects her then turns slowly and tells Roger to "speak or get out."

Roger knew that he had to play his cards right so he says "I literally have no idea what is going on." Really? You don't so this isn't your daughter? Huh Roger "My daughter? Why would you even think that she is white and the same age as Amira, come on cant you see whatever this girl is saying is lies, I have never even seen her before for crying out loud." Dad? How can you be saying this? I'm your daughter! How could you?! You told us for years that this is what your job requires going on business trips and this is what you've been doing all this time?

I can't believe it this all explains why you never made it to my high school graduation you went to hers instead.

I'll never forgive you for this and I'm telling mom. "Sky no you can't tell Andrea." Roger states messing up big time. "Oh so all of a sudden you know her name Roger" Elizabeth states. "Just get out, go now!" She yells He opens the door with his head hung low and stays there for some time, takes one last look at his children. Albert says "bye dad!

Can you turn the heat up on your way out? Roger replies with a low hum turns the heat up and leaves the house "I think you should also leave sky" Elizabeth says in defeat while heading upstairs to her bedroom.

After Roger leaves Albert offers to drive sky back to her dorm but Amira disagrees and tells her to come with her instead.
