Chapter 3

I  start  the  engine  and  with  a  roar my  Subaru  is back  to life  idling.  Sky  gets  into the sit next  to me  and  closes the  door.  

I  pull out  of  the  driveway  and  start  to ramble  about  how  my  brother can  be  so dumb at  serious times  and  when  your  happy  his serious,  it’s like  he  is in  reverse  or something  then  I  started  talking  about how  I  can’t  believe  how  my  father,  ok our father could  do something  like  that,  running  two  homes at  the same  time  only  to be  caught  now  that  is  so  weird,  impressive  even.

I  talked  the  whole  ride  to campus and  during  the  whole  ride  sky  was  silent.

When I pulled  up  in  the  parking  lot  I  looked  at  her  and  she  was  looking  horrified, petrified  even.

“What’s wrong?”  I  asked  her.  “Is it  what dad  said?”

“No, no it’s just  that  my  ex-boyfriend is most  likely  waiting  for me  at  my  dorm room because  the  last time a siyuation like this played out that  was  what  he  did  and  I  don’t  have  any  were  else  to go.”

A pang of guilt hit me as I looked at my half sister's state, I was so busy thinking about how my life was changing and had no consideration on her wellbeing, after all she did have it worst than I did.

With a closer observation of Sky I saw that her eyes was following something which turned out to be someone and it was Jake my cousin.

I got out the car and called him over only to be pulled back in by sky.

“What are you doing that's him!!”

“Yh I know he's my cousin chill, wait what did you just say?”

“That is him my ex.”

“wait what?” I asked shocked. After attempting to process this information i said “Ok I'll deal with him, roll up the windows” I said still trying to process the information that I was given.

“Hey” Jake said coming over “how's life?”

“Very interesting if I do say so myself. So what are you doing here? I mean you don't live in a dorm room after all.” I answered.

“Oh its nothing I just missed the environment I just wanted to pay the college and my friends a little visit.” He said in a not so sure tone.

I saw these red marks which looked like scratches on his arms and on his face and everything was beginning to solve it's self except the answer of why would he do such a thing.

I was getting pissed by now at every mark I saw it just made me vision how Sky was struggling so I just said that I have to go now and entered my vehicle and sped off

I swear I have a messed up family tree, the most weirdest people on earth is my family members and im apart of this sick family my father is a cheater now my cousin is an abuser you've got to be kidding me.

I stopped speeding when I saw sky was on the verge of screaming.

I personally do not think that my driving is that bad, but
the look on sky's face say's otherwise.

I pulled up at my cousins apartment that I crash at when the house gets super boring and consumes my mind in the feeling of having no friends.

I get out and wait for sky which is taking her precious time walking, well I mean she is walking normally but I on the other hand, I'm angry walking, if that isn't a thing it is now.
