A ROSE FOR EMILY : CHAPTER 10.1

Emily's POV

"Because I like you and I love you."

UGH! WHAT THE--!! Bakit hindi maalis sa isipan ko yang sinabi niyang yan?! The heck Ross! What did you do?!

"Aaaaaaaaaaaahh~!" ginulo ko ang buhok ko sa inis.

"Hey Lili, what's happening to you?" bulong nitong katabi ko.

"Wala ka ng pakielam dun! Aish. Makaalis na nga lang dito! UGH." tumayo ako sabay kuha sa bag ko ng biglang umeksena 'tong Physics teacher namin.

"Ms. Montez. Magccutting ka na naman?"

"Obvious ba?!" sarcastic kong sagot.

"Where's your manners, Ms. Montez?!"

"Nasa table ko po." =_________= Nagsitawanan naman ang klase dahil sa sinabi ko. Dapat pala economics ang kinuha mo sir.

"Ay ba naman, Ms. Montez. Hindi ka kaagad makakalabas ng classroom na 'to hangga't hindi mo nasasagot ang tanong ko." tanong ng tanong. Sheeesh. Saang school pwedeng manggulpi ng teacher? Mag-eenrol ako.

"Go ahead."

"Why do Boomerangs come back?" tsk.. easy.

Umakyat na ako sa platform at nag-umpisang sagutin ang tanong niya,

"Boomerangs work on the same principles of aerodynamics as any other flying object; the key to how a boomerang works is the airfoil.

An airfoil is flat on one side but curved on the other with one edge thicker than the other - this subjects the boomerang to lift, keeping it in the air. The lift is generated because the air flowing up over the curve of the wing has further to travel than the air flowing past the flat side. The air moving over the curve travels faster in order to reach the other side of the wing, creating lift.

A boomerang has two airfoils, each facing in a different direction. This makes the aerodyamic forces acting on a thrown boomerang uneven. The section of the boomerang moving in the same direction as the direction of forward motion moves faster than the section moving in the opposite direction. Just like tank tracks moving at different speeds, this causes the boomerang to turn in the air and return to the thrower."

Natapos ang explanation ko at lumabas na ako ng classroom. Ang epic ng mga itsura ng mga kaklase ko. Naka-nga nga silang lahat pati si Sir. Tsk. Don't tell me hindi nila alam yun? Oh gawd for pete's sake naman! 4th year ba silang maiituring sa lagay na yon? Tsk. Losers.

Nandito ako ngayon sa Mall at may sale! Waaaaaaaaaaaaah~ *U*

"Miss, wala na bang size Medium para dito?" pinakita ko sa saleslady yung napili kong polo.

"We still have mam. Last one nalang po. Buti po nakahabol kayo." kinuha niya yung medium polo then binigay sakin.

"Yes! Thank you Miss."

"You're welcome mam. I can assist you if you want." tumango nalang ako at nagtuloy sa pagpili ng damit habang siya naman salita ng salita. FYI lang po. Suki po ako dito. =________="

Ang saya talaga bumili ng gusto mo. *U*

Kung bumubili na rin naman ako para sa collection ko eh bibili na din ako ng susuotin ko. Naka-uniform pa po kaya ako. Mahuli pa kong nag-cutting. >< Bumili ako ng plain white shirt, denim polo, denim shorts and a beanie.
