Broken Bonds || Sting x Reader x Rogue

Reader's POV

It was a warm sunny day. The sea splashed its waves onto the shore. The birds were chirping a soft melody.

Dad, Nii-san and I were having roast meat as our dinner before getting ready for bed.

I heard an almost inaudible whisper.

"I'm sorry, Natsu, (Y/N)..."

"Dad! Where are you!?" I woke up to loud shouts which sounded like Natsu's voice.

"Nii-san? What's going on?" I rubbed my eyes sleepily. "(Y/N)! Dad's gone and I don't know where he is!" I could see his eyes getting watery.

My head started to hurt. I could feel my legs getting wobbly and it was hard to breath. "(Y/N)!"
Natsu ran over to catch me before I fell.

"I'm fine, Nii-san. I think it's just a trauma from when Mizuho went missing."

He looked at me worriedly. "Let's look for dad, okay?" I told him, trying to get his spirits up.
"Y-yeah.."

Natsu and I have been searching for Dad for about 3 hours. "Nii-san.. is Dad gone forever?" I played with the hem of my white dress while twiddling my thumbs.

He didn't answer. Not because he couldn't, but he didn't want to answer. I was 'too young' to worry about all these things.

"(N/N)-chan! Is that you?" I heard the voice of an all too familiar friend. "Rogue! I can't find Dad and I don't know where he is."

"You too? Our dragons suddenly disappeared on us," a blond boy mentioned.

Suddenly, I was pulled behind Natsu's back.
"(Y/N), who are these people?"

Really? An overprotective brother? This is getting too cliché. "They're my friends I've been telling you about, Nii-san."

"N-Natsu-san.. may I shake your hand?" Sting looked up at Natsu with stars in his eyes. "No! You're not coming near me or my imouto!"

"Uh.. Nii-san.. you're Sting's idol, please shake his hand!" I saw a light pink on Sting's cheeks when he realised that he could shake Natsu's hand.

"Okay..?"

"ROGUE I TOUCHED NATSU-SAN IM NEVER WASHING MY HANDS EVER AGAIN"

"Ew."

"Now I'd love to stay and talk," Natsu said sarcastically. "But we have to go bye!" He pulled me in the opposite direction from them.

I gave them the quickest wave I can before they got out of sight. "Where are we going?" I asked Natsu.

"To Magnolia! I heard that there's a market with food there!" Now Natsu had stars in his eyes.

While we were finding our way through Magnolia, we came across this huge building.

There was a sign that said 'FAIRY TAIL' with a symbol of a fairy of some sort.

"What are you kids doing here?" The voice came from a short old man. "What is this place?" Natsu asked.

"Do fairies have tails? We don't even know if fairies exist. It's all a mystery, and with a mystery comes a great adventure. That is the meaning behind the name 'Fairy Tail'! Children, would you like to join Fairy Tail?"

"Hell yeah! Wait, what does this place do?" Natsu looked confused. "Fairy Tail is a guild where mages and wizards join together as a family." It sounded really cheesy, but interesting.

"Now, shall we get you two stamped?" The old man led us to his office and held out a stamp. "Where would you like it?"

"On my right shoulder and in red!" Natsu answered almost immediately. "Then I want mine on my left shoulder and in blue!" I wanted mine to be the opposite of Natsu's.

"Let's introduce you to the guild," he gave a warm smile to us. "LISTEN UP, LETS WELCOME NATSU AND (Y/N) INTO OUR GUILD!" Loud cheering was heard after that.

This is a really rowdy guild, Nii-san will like it.

"Welcome to the guild you two. My name is Erza." A scarlet-haired girl introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you, Erza!" I bowed slightly to her. "Who's this?" A raven-haired boy with no clothes came out from behind her.

"Gray, put your clothes back on. It's not a good first impression." A deadly aura emitted from Erza. "When did that happen?!"

"Hey little girl, what magic do you use?" A scary looking girl with white hair came over to me.
"(Y/N) is a water dragon slayer while her big bro over here is a fire dragon slayer!" Natsu put his arm over me.

"Huuuuhhhhh?!"

"Two dragon slayers?!"

"And they're related?!"

The whole guild was filled with confused looks. I was confused too. Was it really such a big deal to be a dragon slayer?

"Nii-san, I'm going to see Sting and Rogue now, bye!" I dashed out of the guild quick enough before he could stop me.

I remember them telling me that they're joining a guild called Sabertooth. I asked for directions to Sabertooth.

"Sting! Rogue!" I called out to them. "How's your new guild?"

I expected anything. A simple 'hi' or maybe a wave or even a smile. But no.

I got smacked to the ground.

"What are you-"

"Shut up! I don't know you!" Rogue pushed me back down. "Sting," Sting grinned and started to step on me.

"Get away from here you weakling!"

"Water Dragon's Tidal Wave!" I sent them flying back some meters away and used that opportunity to run.

Sting, Rogue, what's happened to you guys?

I stopped in front of the guild, wondering whether I should enter. I hesitantly opened the doors. It was a bad idea.

"(Y/N)! Why are you covered in bruises?!" Natsu ran over to me and started to shake me. "I got attacked by b-bandits, Nii-san," I didn't want to tell him the truth. That would ruin Sting's image of him and crush him forever.

"Where were Sting and Rogue? They were supposed to protect you!" He started shaking me again. "N-Nii-san.. motion s-sickness.." I held back a gulp. "I was walking through the market when I got attacked and ran straight back to the guild,"

"Let's get you fixed," Natsu brought me to the infirmary. That's odd, Natsu is finally thinking.

That wasn't the real them. They were faking it. I know it.

so the dragons died (๑╹ω╹๑ ) weeeee
