"isn't that the boy from last time?" my mother asked as she saw my drawing, multiple drawings of xukun in every style. "what boy?" i asked, , i hoped my mom would take the hint. i don't want to talk about xukun anymore.
"if your really trying to forget jing, stop drawing him. it's been two weeks and you still cry" my mom stroked my hair and i bit my lip. she wasn't lying, i see xukun in school when he visits jing and his father.
"it's hard mom, he visits school to see his girlfriend. how am i even suppose to react. i-i love him so much" i said tears coming down and my mom hugged me. "let's change schools then, huh?" my mom said and i sniffed softly nodding "b-but chengcheng and justin?" i asked and she cupped my face.
"you'll make new friends okay? but i want you to say goodbye to them, okay?" my mom said and i nodded "i'm gonna take these drawings, don't draw him again" my mom grabbed the drawings carefully and i cried a bit more.
he was an angel come to save me, but never returned back.
"yah jing, why are you even sadder today?" chengcheng asked we sat on a table outside, i bit my lip looking up at him. chengcheng always been there for me, to cheer me up and call me beautiful. would i hurt him? what about justin, im like his older sister.
"chengcheng" i said and he smiled holding my hands , rubbing his thumb on my clammy palms. "i'm switching schools" i said and chengcheng face froze "don't freak out. my mom doesn't want me sad anymore. i don't know where i'm going yet. but i wanted to tell you , because i care for you so much chengcheng" i said and chengcheng eyes watered.
he started to cry "don't leave me" he whined and i smiled at him wiping his tears. "don't be dramatic" i smiled and he pouted "don't go to far, okay?" chengcheng said and i nodded "my jing is LEAVING!" chengcheng yelled and i covered his mouth and saw as everyone stared at us , even xukun.
"don't yell things" i said and he nodded "SHES NEVER COMING BACK!" chengcheng yelled again and i pouted at him as he smiled and i punched his shoulder. "just for that, walk to class by yourself" i said standing up and walking away from him.
"li jing to the main office!" the announcement boomed in the hall way and i pouted, i wasn't even wearing my sweater. i walked into the principle office and xukun sat at his desk, mr cai no where to be found.
"i'm leaving" i said and xukun grabbed my arm "what was chengcheng yelling about?" he asked , i could see the worry in his eyes, but was it fake? like how he lied about even caring about me.
"what are you talking about?" i lied and he sighed "why are you leaving?" he asked and i just looked at the ground as he slammed his hands on his father's desk. "answer me jing!" xukun glared at me and i bit my lip "i don't have to answer anything to you xukun!" i yelled and i walked out the office people staring at me from the earlier commotion.
i ran up the stairs that led to the rooftop and in to the secret room. i sat on the ground my knees to my chest and my head laying on my arms. i took in deep breaths, i don't have to listen to xukun anymore, because he's nothing to me.
the door opened and xukun was out of breath, "i swear to god jing, run one more time and i'm gonna have to put a tracker on you" xukun said closing the door. "xukun! you're so annoying!" i yelled out of frustration, here i was trying to forget him and he was just trying to ask me questions, show his handsome face towards me.
"then tell me jing!" xukun yelled back "tell me" he whispered and i bit my lip. "yes i'm moving, to america" i lied and xukun face soften, "what?" he asked and i bit my lip. "my mother for a better job over there" i said and xukun frowned "i'll pay your mom as much as they would pay her there here!" xukun grabbed my hands and i chuckled.
"how could you even say that?" i asked "you literally left me for another girl, because i'm not as rich or pretty as her" i added "now you're trying to seduce me to stay with money?" i finished. xukun bit his lip "it's not even that" xukun said and i pushed his hands away.
"leave me alone xukun" i mumbled and he hugged me "j-jing please. you mean a lot to me. i just want to make sure you're okay all the time" xukun said i unwrapped his arms and stood up.
"you should of thought about that before you broke my heart xukun" i said walking out and xukun grabbed my hand. "don't leave me" xukun said looking at the ground, "xukun you were the one who left me" i said walking off.
